@nameless, hi! It is a Hindu festival of river Ganga called Khumbmela, which is celebrated at holy banks of river every 12 years. Millions of people usually gather at banks for holy baths. Actually this year gathering much lower than usual khumbmelas, its due to covid fear. Sadhus and Agoras (u can google em) doesnt give a F about masks or corona. Yet, many gathered for the festival. The problem is thousands of people for diff.different provinces comes there. So when they go back from festival gathering to thier home towns, they mass spread unknowingly..In the journey, in the home...is spreads like wild fire from such religous gatherings..Same with election rallies..

@jorgen, hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii brother, its been so long since i saw u in game..hehe thanks for kind nature to help. Im safe in home and taking good sanitory care. Finally they introduced 18hrs lockdown in my state..Hope things and people recover soon.

nifty bro, I remember in December last year there was a large protest in India of 200 million people. Maybe that contributed to the rapid spread of the virus ??

200 million is media magnification, protest happend in many local cities and more are from North India. But cases decreased even after protest, and started to rise after a month after protests, may be these events also played a role in mass spread.

Instead of reading the RNA in groups of 3 letters it reads sometimes only 2.

That miscount leads to an error.

Now they are able to force that error what means at the end, that the virus reproduction rate falls down to 1:1000 to 1:10'000.
