Hacked Password Ransom

Recently received a sort of ransom email which showed my password to simple forums (this has now been changed).  Not sure if I may have used the same password on some other site long ago.  Any known  recent breach of Simple forums data?
The email dated Jan 28 2021 .

I'd better check your system for keyloggers and the other viral software. The best way to do it is to download an image and make a bootable flash drive.

Technically, it's a bootable image of Linux with antiviral software, which works without installation.

Thanks for the information. I'm fairly certain the hack came from a compromised website but am going to try what you suggest.

What exactly was in email, what do they demand?) Maybe you can post its content here, without sensetive data ofc? Just in case to be awared.
