Not only random players drop in huge numbers (or stay but are afk) the admins have started avoiding the map all together. I know a majority of the admins hate it, example: 2 days ago I left when it started. Yesterday both bender and Assi (assi with the words brb 30min) and maybe even more. I can not understand how this can still be on the maprotation, without admins ive seen the airfield turning to a tk-massacre. Next time I wont intervene but try to get some print screens to support my never ending battle to remove the map from the maprotation.

if the server is full i normally let it on. If its not i always ask who wants next map (skip question) or i decide by myself what is in the server best interest. If its late i always skip it to pick up numbers on a different map. Though I always maintain the map cycle. I dont go back, i choose the map after Philly. Just press insert if you dont know what it is.

there's always one person who goes "i love philippines! best map! don't skip!"
never seen two at the same time...

i think there should be !bphilippines to get rid of those weirdos that actually like that map

then there would be no need to keep it in rotation ;-)

Yes Lecter, and by doing that you, me and several others violate the agreement about not touching the maprotation. I do also only skip it for the next one when its late so the server wont die.

Why do most clanners hate Philly? Ah ... few tanks and only planes for one side. Philly is one of the best maps if modded properly. All piers should have 5+ less than 10 sec spawning landing crafts.

Well, i like it too but earlier the day there was just a total rape because of so many boats... 1 ship was shot down by planes, the other one by 5 ships with torpedos?

no, cmon, this is perfect map to feel some jungle combat, and its nice when for example japs take northern flag and allies have airfield, it can be good like berlin

Why do you dislike Philippines so much? Is it because of the distance between the islands?

If you don't like the map, why don't you skip the map.
All you do is trying to get rid of all the maps you dont like; your hatred against this map is boring me tbh.

Yes, a big part is the distance and then the unbalance with only one team having planes in start so even a noob pilot kan have 25-0 after 5min. The distance makes it slow, and Ive played this game for far too long to enjoy the scenery enough like noobs like yourself. See what you think after 10k+ hours, there is a reason most pro players dislike phillipines.

Since this thread was created and last time I played it I believe it has been modded, I dont know how it is now but in general I dont enjoy modifications (for public there are exceptions like adding axis planes on market).

And you are using some very cheap rethorics making me question both your age and your intellect, "all the maps". I dont enjoy el ala ctf but im not taking any actions to remove it, only philli. I dont just speak for myself, I speak for a large part of the pro players when it comes to philli and I dont want them to leave the server (some of them like el ala ctf and that is why I do not try, or wish, to remove it).

I don't think Invasion of the Philippines map is that bad. It has the patrol boats, it's nice to have some sea battles. Although the map is now unbalanced, because of the allied planes, it can be tweaked and improved and it will be.

Just a thought, can u decrease characteristics of the planes, for example their speed, bomb damage? If u are able to make ultra speed jeeps or weaken grenades, it should be possible. And people won't be that willing to get a plane

I don't know what's wrong with you guys but Phillipines is a great map :-)

Especially with a full server like this one.

Plus it has a nice weather and gives you holiday feelings.
