ROFLMAO, I WAS REALLY YOUNG THERE.. there is still a video somewhere of Brainless, Assassin and me. first they made a video about tricks to cap the flag then we started a video extreme ways to cap a flag, we havent finished it but if am right brainless got some sick video's on his computer...

Just take el ala ctf out of the mappool... it's so lame.
Noone captures the flag cos there are always 10ppl camping around it.
Also the most people see it as a possibility to satifsy their basecamp desire.

hi all, just some thoughts on el al CTF, its been for some time now and my impresion is that el al CTF made el al less interesting because el al in conquest mode was good for flying and tank battles. in ctf mode its only flying and driving turbo-jeeps (admit, lots of fun to do that)

imo wake is much better candidate for CTF - smaller map and shape of map.

what do you think? maybe to give it a test for brief time and see reactions?

I really liked Wake CTF and used to play a lot on a server running it 24/7. But the problem with the map is that baserape is almost guaranteed and people nowadays would hate this. You'd probably get a complaints post about it every week on the forum.

Berlin CTF (without tanks and explosives) is the only other ctf map I would suggest for the SiMPLE server.

Can just repeat me, El Ala CTF sucks!

If you are flying you always need to take a close look before you get into dogfight and at the same time you get shot by teammates in plane or from the flak!
So maybe, if you don't want to take it out, at least separate the planes!

Example:

Axis: Aliied:
-Bf109 -Spit
-Zero -Mustang
-Stuka -SBD

And maybe Illu's for both in the Hangars

Is el ala out of the maprotation? If not i would suggest to decrease the tanks in the bases, too!

Don't change the map rotation, because some maps will be repeated.
