New BF-League Season predictions

This season there is a higher number of clans signing up compared to the last season, which had 5 clans registered. We are seeing the return of lop| and [tamplier]. I am predicting an interesting fight between lop| and BmC for the top spot, but with lop being out of the competition for a season, BmC has the upper edge and will finish first.

We have also seen [PHX] win 3 of it's 7 matches, not a bad record for its first season in the league. The clan definetly has room for growth and should surprise many in the upcoming season.

Here are my predictions for the final league standings:

1) BmC
2) lop
3) Invictus
4) [PHX]
5) [tamplier]
6) <TnS>
7) =[UF]=

To be more correct there was 8 matches and we had 3 wins and 1 draw with TnS. Thanks for feedback, we will try to do our best during this season.

How many active players left? Try to make a team at least with 7 players. I don't know why do they participate if every match against them will be cancelled because they can't show up with 6+ players.

PHX lost a key player with San, who joined lop. I think PHX is still very good and with excellent team they are able to be 1st. lop, Invictus and BmC will play for 1st place I think but since lop and BmC have in total more good tanker, it will be hard for invictus. Since lop is the most active team + Jazzy the G.O.A.T., lop will win in the end. But who knows, BmC has Shad back, who is one silent key player and a lot of old old hands. BmC and lop will be intense as usually and I hope it will be close till the end. Then the game will be more interesting. Maybe invictus will surprise us and win the league for first time.

Tamplier team can leave the season even faster than you think. Their only pilot decided to leave the team recently.

Although I've not had much to do with the league since 2011 - respectively with NH, TeamNorth and LegioX, here are my predictions:

1. lop - they will win with miles without any real challenge. Why? They seem to be the most active and motivated team with mostly good players in their roster.
2. Invictus. Here I would put Invictus this season, but as they just made a draw to PHX I'm a bit confused.
3. BmC. BmC don't really care about points anymore, they are "old hands" who are just playing because of the social aspect - I think. Most of their players have tried winning Div1 several times "already".
4. PHX. They are the joker to me this season. They seem to have a lot of active, motivated and good players in their "new" roster - using the word "new" in this game just feels wrong ;-). If they have some great teamplay and communication they might even take 2nd or 3rd place who knows.
5. Tamplier. Tamplier is for sure one of the weakest teams this season. I don't really know their strenghts or which of their players are active. In the past this russian line-up always struggled to make a balanced allround team.
6. TnS. I have a feeling they are the weakest team this season. I'm not 100% sure about this, but it looks like most of their best players leaves to lop every season they are active

That was my prediction. However if most wars are played 6v6/7v7 it is hard to predict the outcome. Then it isn't Battlefield anymore imo., but just 1v1 missions, a lot of map and flags.

Damn, I failed my placement of BmC and Invictus, but I guess I bear some of the responsibility myself as I helped to take 4 points from Invictus xD.

And Tamplier somehow survived the season. Much respect to Alex for carrying on all season.
Next season will hopefully have more balanced teams, exciting close matches, yellow dots, fun maps and lots of fun. Gratz to lop and all the other participants!

This should be an exciting season. I haven't seen that much clans in the table in a while. 9 clans in 2021 is amazing. We almost could have had 10!

Most of them are new to me at least... Operation Forager has been played often and this is quite a good map.
The other maps not.

Okay. I have been absent from bf-league for almost 10 years, but several of the custom maps are familiar to me from old seasons; Forager, Murmansk, Cherbourg, and I also heard that East Docks and Tatouine have been used before in bf-league - this means that only 3 maps are completely new: El Wadi, Strasbourg and Desna River. And not to sound harsh towards you Dary (it's not meant that way at least) , but then such experienced, old and skilled team as yours only have to practice and get to know 3 maps, which shouldn't take that much time? On top of that every team still got 3 map bans available to use.

The majority of my teammates haven't played ANY of the custom maps ever before, but most of them seems excited and happy about trying out something new though it can be frustrating and confusing at times :-)

@Black Mamba: On what basis do you give your result predictions? I'm just a bit curious :-)

I'l give my prediction later on, but I think I lean very much towards Karlson and Zody's predictions. But I actually think a lot comes down to which team can keep a stable and motivated line-up - I mean this season is gonna run through spring and "summer" and Corona restrictions are probably also gonna get reduced during this time as well, opening up for more fun-time out in the real world. I'm at least curious and excited to see how it's gonna go with Asstralis since it was kindda build around the "dark winter corona lock down".
