Missing crosshair and menu problems

Hello,

is there any solution how to fix missing crosshair and problems with menu in game? I have crosshair only on few weapons like Bazooka or Karabiner 98k. With menu, I can't change anything, because I am not able to see highlighted options. Same with choosing weapons, can't see highlighted weapons.

Thank you for any help. Spent few hours looking on internet but could not find anything.

I had this problem back in 2008 on my laptop with Nvidia GPU. It has been fixed with Nvidia drivers update. Just try to install up-to-date drivers.

Have you tried to disable anti-aliasing on your AMD Catalyst software? And what's your GPU model  anyway?

RX 5700, I can see crosshair with few weapons, so I don't think that it would be settings in Catalyst. But AA is off.

Have it always been like this? Or did it come after something was changed (new install, new computer or upgrading to win 10 or whatever)

Nope, just bought new pc few months ago and decided to play BF1942 again, so I downloaded the game from here and torrent to try a different version, but still same issue.

I found a work around for this problem, I use Linux for BF42 through Wine, it works all menus work as they should etc and crosshairs, it might be down to fact Linux uses a open source drive rather than a AMD driver (using a 5700AMD GPU)
