Free games

I figured we needed a topic for legitimate free games.

As of yesterday Crusader Kings II became free to play on Steam, you can get it here. If you enjoy Grand Strategy games this is worth a go.

Also, "Alan Wake's American Nightmare" and ">Observer_" on Epic here. (I know its Epic, but free game is free game)

This game has attracted some attention on YouTube, it's called Second Earth it is currently free, it's somewhat similar to They Are Billions I believe.

What was once a huge sector of the video games market disappeared with Command & Conquer's last gasp. I still enjoy playing some 20 year old RTS games, from the golden period, and I've been hoping for a long time now that strategy games (not turn based animie fantasy dungeon elves and orcs) might return. Alas, I think now it's unlikely. The only conclusion I can make of this, is that during that golden period of RTS games the graphics and performance matched the hardware capabilities. Soon the hardware outstripped the software in terms of delivering a better looking experience and the genre died off because it could not move forward and advance in the same way that FPS games could.

Here is my vote for the best free RTS game from the golden period that was a very uderrated and overlooked by Command & Conquer's market swamp, but still superior in every single way from graphics to gameplay to depth and freedom to construct.

Warzone 2100

This was where RTS games should have gone instead of Command & Conquer's dead end.

Slither is fun. Do use firefox for speed and maybe these Cheats.

BUT for the more serious gamer:

It is free Unreal Tournament 4 (scroll down/mousewheel)

But this game is probably too quick, rude and too fast for most people.

Of course you can also play the older versions of Unreal Tournament. For example Unreal Tournament 3.

Oh yes. They sell your datas

"Spotify" as example makes money not with music, but with selling your datas to everybody who pays.

As we know it from all Apps + "free" Games and Phones.
