All the best to you Bad Actor, keep up the positive attitude and you'll be right. At least you're able to access some of the best medical treatment available unlike some of the poorer facilitated countries. & BTW aged 55yo? That's not old at all mate! :-)
Thanks Unit, you're right, we have one of the best healthcare systems in the world.
Doctor informed me I'm being released tomorrow under supervision so will be some follow up diagnosis and another couple of chest x-rays after that.
They certainly don't process you in at one end and chuck you out the other end once you meet a basic set of stats concerning recovery.
55 years is no age at all but believe me, during the darkest times in the first few days being hospitalized I genuinely thought this is it at 55 but I'd had a good life.
Now 55 and looking forward to the next 30 years and probably still playing BF1942.
OMG the picture you just painted in my minds eye..........
Sorry about that, go a bit stir crazy in a hospital bed and get carried away.
No Benny Hill nurses around to take my mind off things.
daaamn! wish you well, Actor!
i belive in my place most of infected didnt consult with doctors, many people from here i know had "severe, weird symthomps" at feb-mar some told it was worst sickness they ever had, me too, at end of feb, also not the worst sickness i had, but in my top 5 for sure, i could not sleep because of gasping for breath and was absolutely positive like if i smoke a sigaret i going suffocate to death also temp was only to 38 C at max, so i allow more tht 50% possibility it was convid, maybe it was changed some amount of hosts before me and become weaken, so hard condition wasnt last long, maybe 5 days, only back to normal takes much longer than usual sick

HAPPY you are being released and on the mend.
WAY TO KICK ASS Actor!!!! The Gold Medal is yours. Its been earned.
When completely healthy again, its OPEN bar for Actor. Top shelf only. On me.
Welcome back, Mr. Bad Actor
Wishing you all the best, Bad Actor, stay strong please
Keep us updated Bad :*
What a decent bunch you lot are, this is why I love our community and the shared love for a classic game we have enjoyed playing together over many years.
I was released yesterday, doc was happy I'd been able to maintain my oxygen levels up at around 94%.
MY discharge papers confirmed it was Covid 19 so hopefully I'm now immune, (if only that was the case on the battlefield
Need a follow up chest x-ray in about 6 weeks to confirm everything is on the mend.
Very tired and still chesty but another couple of easy days and that will pass.
Might even put in a cheeky session later today to get my endorphins up there
Thanks again for your good wishes, you lot are the best

Had a good full map session on Kursk yesterday afternoon, bit slow off the mark and found it hard to focus on screen but as Axis we turned a deficit round to our advantage and won by about 150 tickets.
Think I finished mid table on our team and Kursk isn't my strongest map but damn, good to be home
...
And, how was it?
Any problem with running/breathing due the Game?

No, not at all.
Just feel a bit rusty in general and generally hard to focus.
I'm sitting out for a bit longer till I'm 100%, the focus issue makes it hard to avoid tks.
GLAD you are back and feeling good enough for a full map!
Cheers brother!!!!

Good article, thanks.

Hehe, ... Dude, ... it is just a flu
The only dangerous part is that the virus is nesting into the alveoli. And that is the reason why it needs respirators.
(Because the Virus is between those zell walls, (growing), the distance between is increased and the result is a hindered transfer of O2 and CO2).
Because there is a limited number of respirators in hospitals, they had to start this Lockdown.
Like this they could slow down the number of new infections and that was the only way to keep the number of the hospitalisations low and under control.
...
The rest of the symptoms you can have with any other flu.

Its a joke You killed it
By the way, Bud, how is the situation in Sweden ?!
Its kinda hard to say, i dont really trust the news. Gov says not so bad, meanwhile workers from crematoriums works overtime around the clock.
edit: an example, this from 7 february, article is gone from web now, or atleast i cant find it.

Aight, found something now and guess what? According to swedun gow an health bosses this is because we have better control over the numbers, other countries reports are "too low" or something in that manner.
yeah sure that sounds totally right doesn't it? (sarcasm)
-
for example in my country we lost the control of the people who died due to coronavirus, in Spain we do not have 20,000 deaths it´s the double if not more. Also the number of people affected by it doesn´t fit (this is confirmed by our gov)
I just read in the news that old people here that gets corona, the doctors just describe morphine to them without even look at them first.
Morfin weakens your brains respiratory functions, so instead of helping them with extra oxygen or other medicine, they more or less kill them off instead.
One guy reacted and forced them to examine his dad and got them to change description from morphine to some other medicine and now his dad is getting better instead of dying.
This is real discrace to be so synic towards or old members of the society. Shame on them!
-
Edit: this is the doctors recommendations.. you can see there is mentioning morfin, OxyNorm and Midazolam, they all affect breathing negatively.

It's normal they give Morphin in Palliative Care if people have pain.
Palliative means attendend care on the last mile.
In those doses they give Morphin it's not affecting the breathing. In high dosis yes. But 5-10 mg at once i guess not.
And you know, it's affecting the respiratory muscles, but not the transfer of O2 & CO2.
...
If you read the possible side effects of Hydroxychloroquin you are thinking about living with Corona.
And it's the same with most of the medicaments.
But Morphium and Methadon are broken down via the liver without residues.
I guess i would also prefer Morphin instead of some Psychopharmica on my last mile.

Dunno if i write bad or you have trouble understanding. If they are old and gets corona then they gets placed as pallative instead of getting help for the corona virus. Ok?
They need oxygen but gets morphine so slowly dies by too litle air. Ok?
Its just cheaper to get rid of them
