BF1942 Tips & Tricks

- I'll start

Infantry - avoid taking damage when descending steep slopes :

Face forward, but press the back key when going down hills, so you "walk backwards" while still facing forward. That way you won't take damage from most descents.

Tank- shoot tank from back to destroy it with 1 shot by bazooka or another tank.  even planes too

Cool. I've seen one time someone do it in Omaha Beach, but never managed to.

A good place to put exppacks is at the side of the bridges in Battle of the Bulge map hidden by the small wall. Tanks won't see them when crossing the bridge.

true, a  bit more detailed:

hold right mouse button and you can "charge" the range of your grenade
right click = 0 range -> you just drop your grenade

left click = immediately charge the maximum range of your grenade

I think ascending that slope with a tank is more useful

Nope works with ... 1.6 - 161b - 1.612 ... I used to tease my old nemesis KILLZONE on Moongamers a lot by doing this .... I swam from shore on Iwo a lot of times when my axis team had one flag only and were pinned on the mountain ... I sank his Prince of Wales many a times .....

wow i thought its possibe only on jeep/tank, or using blast wave that throws you up and helps to climb to the top

you can cross the rivers on tank in specific places at Kharkov and Battle for Bulge before the lifebar of the tank will run out
when you in a plane and at some moment you realize that crash with another aircraft is inevitable, just release all control keys, invariability of  acceleration (g-force:P) will increase the chances for survival(not working with Timmos)

Good tips about destroying the Prince of Wales with bazooka shots and how to get to roof top at Berlin.
Some might not know (i'm not including all you clan players ), but to use the plane torpedos against the ships you'll have to fly slow and drop them very near to the water.

- You can set your mouse sensivity for infantry, planes, etc. in the ingame options menu. But the sliders are somewhat imprecise, only move in increments, and it’s hard to remember which location you normally use. The numerical values for the sliders are located in EA GAMESBattlefield1942Modsf1942SettingsProfiles***Controls, The numbers can be edited for more precise settings.

its working, but you have to be very careful
other way: drive backwards with any speed, and they wont explode

infantry:
if u crouch and shoot, you can move a little bit to a side, you will avoid being hit, but i think its a kind of a bug..so i use it rarely, only against some people

also u can almost destroy tank with any jeep by crashing into him
