Mapping controls

Hi All,
I used to play all the time 15 years ago and am stoked to be back!  My original CD is in another city so I downloaded it from THC's youtube video link and it auto patched and setup SiMPLE's server desktop  shortcut.  I am running in administrator and for SP Pack 3 as I'm on Windows 7.

Question: When I map keys in Controls it looks like it saves, but when I go to play nothing changes.  I can't setup my joystick, I can't change any control.  Despite the Controls showing it's changed.

Any advice would be great!  See ya out there.

Did you install it in ProgramFiles? > Then install it in as example C:\Games\

Do you have a "Battlefield 1942" Folder in Documents? Then delete it.

The best is anyway to use this Installation package here.
