Just under 2 hours gameplay of Far Cry 2 (Videos at the end, set Quality to 1440P).

You can see pretty well what it's about in this game > "The route is the goal".

I played it when it came out and made my own cards for Diamonds, Tapes and Golden AK's.

Beside the Golden AK (lowest degradation), i like the G3AK4 and usually used it. It has a perfect Perfect Bullet Sequence and it's cheap, also the upgrades, so you can buy it short after you began the game.

(Allways buy first a new weapon, pay it go out of the system, (Computer) and go in again to buy the upgrades for it).

99% of all weapons you find in the area outside are crap. So you have to find a golden AK or you buy one.

The best way to play this game is to find Diamonds and solve the Sidequests from Weapondealers, Comrades, and some others to get Diamonds and unlock Weapons, Weaponcrates and ofc. finding the Golden AK.

You need the Weapon Crates so you can keep a second Golden AK or just a new weapon if your actual starts failing.

> Lock the Framerate (Must do/important).

You have to lock the framerate due your graficcards driver, with Ati easy due the Driver, and for nVidia it's the nVidia Inspector.

> Klick on "Global Driver Profile" > Search Far Cry 2 and choose it.
> Klick on "Lock Fps"
> Set your desired FPS.

I locked it on 118 FPS and play it at 120 Hz. If you don't lock it, the game is unplayable "failures for NPC's and scripts".

Just lock the Fps 2-3 fps below your choosen framerate in your game.

I Uploaded Complete-Overview from North and South and my personal made maps peace by peace.

I wrote also an textfile, just to know how many diamonds i have and if i allready found The AK and tapes.

If you don't make this, you will not know later in which area you alleady completed and which not. They ways are too long and too many informations just to keep in Head.

The most used weapon is the Map and Gps but it's allways exhilarating playing this game again.

Sometimes, all this DiamondSearchThingens and the long ways can be a bit tiring, but then i just off the game and play it the next day again.

But yes, definitely, the phsyics and gameplay are just great.

Btw. this vidoes are just from the northern part. I have, i guess, all Diamonds, Tapes and made all SideMissions.

Hehe, Far Cry on Game-Console.

I never understood how someone can play a ShooterGame on Console.

Except perhaps if you see my nephew playing on his PS.

When he started playing games i told him, somehow 6 Years ago, the first thing before start playing is to deactivate AutoAimFunction, no matter if on PC or Console.

If you watch him playing COD on PS today, you see no difference to a Mouse played game on PC.

Btw. Meanwhile, since somehow 10 months, he does not play games at all.

He bought a KTM 625 SC and a cheap Fiat Punto HGT and has beside other things in the head.

I was glad to see that, ... all this wasted time due playing Console or PC Games.

My uncle gave us a bunch of games years ago when he gave us a PC. That's how I got into bf42! Well one of the games was Fry Cry. It was awesome! Is Far Cry 2 better than the 1st? The first had like scifi kinda stuff with the genetically modified creatures. Actually, there's a Far Cry movie based on it! (Kinda lame though).

Yes...

You have to open the map and press R and again R to switch between the maps. (Or which key it is.)

The Monocular you can use by pressing right mouse Key while you have opened the map.

Those to centers from each fraction you can just enter, when there is a mission up.

Anyway. In the city, there are two kind of guys. Those you can provoke, and if you aim against them, they go away. The other guys, you will recognize them if you see them, you can't provoke twice. They start shooting if you provoke them a second time.

Some years ago, i bought a PKM and cleaned the half city. Finally you have anyway to flee, because you won't find any ammo or health, but there are allways enemies coming.

It's funny once or twice, but that's it.

The most important thing is to quicksave allways. All quicksaves will be stored like normal savegames and are shown in the "Load Game List", not like in other games, where you have just one or up to three quicksaves.

The best is to make first the side mission, in the bar, some assinations, (Radio towers), and the weapon Sellers.

If you start a Mainmission from the city, (from one or those two fractions), you get allways a call from some comrade to make it a different way. And it will show you a red target and a blue target.

The blue is from your comrade. It's allways better to make the blue target and help your comrade.

Like this, your Safehouses will be upgraded also by Ammo, etc. . Diamonds you will get anyway enough after some time.

You should buy at the beginning just one pistol and a rifle. I prefere the Star and the G3 or an AK. After you bought them, you leave the system and go in again, and then you buy the upgrades for them.

From now on, you can get allways a new weapon in the other house and the weapon in your crates, (the crates are in every safehouse), your weapons get automaticly repaired after a while. Like this you have not to go allways back for a repaired or new weapon.

The best is, not to buy a rifle and search directly a Golden AK 47.

As soon you have a weapon crate you bring your actual Golden ak into the rifle crate, and then you buy an normal AK47 or G3. Then go for a second Golden AK.

Those golden AK's you can use for hours.

You know, if you get a Job, just search the area and explore Outposts on the way to get to the location of the Job.

The most important thing is for actual PC to set a Framelimiter as described in the first post.

After some while you can buy a Medic Upgrade. The Medium Upgrade is enough. You don't need more.

The Ammo upgrade for your used kind of weapons is also important.

The next should be Repairupgrades for all used cars.

Just far far later, when you don't know what to do with the diamonds you can buy other weapons, just that you have them

In this Fortune's Edition you have anyway some free weapons from the beginning. You see them in the weapon house from the dealers.

I switched the bow to a Rocketlauncher later.

The other thing is, if you use a sniper rifle, you loose your rifle.

I played far cry 2 many times and played it on different ways. Also once with the Dart rifle, but then you have very low ammo. Just 4 or so.

I guess i have a video from a somehow 15 Minute City Fight from many years ago somewhere.

Those times, if someone in the city looked wrong at me, i started a war

It was a total slaughter. Funny with PKM or the Saw.

(The FPS drop was because of PrintScreen. Gaming PC 10 years ago.)

Btw. I did not play Far Cry 2 since i completed the northern part 2 or 3 days ago.

It's better to make sometimes a Pause after a while.

Now, i guess i will start with the southern part. There you will have some challenging fights in the city with huge ammount of enemies

After completing the northern part, everything searched and done, i've played 15 hours, but i know everything in this game, so i guess, if you play it the first time, you will have many more.
