Well yes, but what? Hint, this the English used/landed at Market Garden battle. A few.of them.in the backside of a glider and these guys went out "the first". To do what?

Let me upload/share photo of one of those gliders. Brb...

Note: after landing they broke off the backside of the plane so these guys could drive out.

Nooo hahaha yes of course stop the germans.

No ok i tell you before u go tired... they use this when they land to flatten the ground in order to put up command post and tents. Also to move ground to create trenches and any other way they needed to hide/protect themselfs.

I got a shitload of photos today so gimme a moment to upload. This is one with me in it, but the owner of the jeep pressed something in my camera phone app, so now it look like a DSLR/huge lens photo. And wow i look crazy ugly today! Hahahaha

Dunno maybe so... but a high places officer told me this so i take it for the truth. Besides... why wouldn't they?

Also i met a real nice battalion of Polish officers (and superior, a Colonel).

He wears this BEAUTIFUL real woll suit. Meant for making a jump in the fields...

See his rank on his shoulder? Siema, any Poslki can tell us what that means? Yeps, he high up way high up there in rank. Thrust me this man and his guys seen some battle.

Gliders are pretty amazing. I'm not exactly well versed in all the vehicles and aircraft, but it's still easy to appreciate how cool they are/were.

I lived about 1.5hrs away from a WW2 glider museum in the UP of Michigan. They have some extremely rare ones. Like 1 of 5 in the world or something. They'd always have one or two different gliders during airshows. Very cool.
