SiMPLE RtR+SW: NO BOTS ON WEEKENDS

FRIDAYS 17:30-22:00
SATURDAYS 17:30-22.00
SUNDAYS 17:30-22:00
During this event the bots will be disabled, after a lot of requests and feedback from many of you. The decision was to disable bots when number of players on server guarantees fun game for everybody, which is on afternoons and evenings. Thanks to tuia we can finally do it.
We organize it as a try, If we see that you guys like it we'll host more events with NO BOTS.
See you in game!

Hi, I played today with you and I'm happy, playing without bots greatly improves the quality of the game and the level of difficulty between players, bots do not hinder the game

Was ok but to much stacking  6 against 2   9 to 3  etc..  autobalance was off I guess and lots of players quit .......

Yeah there was a lot of stacking, even saw an admin doing it!  As has already been said the skill level was much higher and the game play more enjoyable so thumbs up

I don't think we'll have no bots this week end.
Need to discuss with Tuia if he has time to organise it on the next week ends.
Anyway this try we made worked damn good and almost everyone enjoyed playing without bots so for sure more this kind of events will be organised.
Obviously you can use !nobots Flett but please make sure there are enough people in game and teams are fair, and would be nice  to ask in chat if the majority agrees for that.(Same for all RtR SW admins)

playing only the maps they wants ??  Changing a map after 4 min then if they are loosing they change again ffs, can we finish a game at all and not worry about that mapvote every 2 minutes ???  Played 20 minutes for 3 maps so I quited !!  How many did the same you think ????

Paul, Is it possible to only put 5 bots in each teams in week instead of 20 each lke yesterday ??  Cant get to vehicules the bots have them all.

I totally agree Dakota, increasing number of bots ruins the game even more.
Tuia is making an experiment with bots, please be patient.And thank you for the feedback

It would be cool to see the bots disabled permanently on this server one day. Yes I know why they are enabled, it helps server traffic but the reality is I just stopped playing on this server because of the bots. Unless the current map is Raid of Agheila, a map that EA didn’t script COOP/SP for, I usually avoid playing there.

Personally I don’t mind playing with two other players on a server without bots, at least I know I’m playing with other humans as opposed to lame dumb downed AI that couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn. There is a way to create fake clients without implicating AI, there is even a command for it and some server hosts have used that trick, I think the same should be used on this server. Just my two cents, not a rant.

The bots are disabled on evenings nearly each week end, starting from 17.00 CET.Have fun with us

How do you recognize a BOT, is it just from the gameplay or can you know from the name?

Bots.... don't have logic and they have no idea where they shoot.
