I just have seen, that Evolve raptr is using variable bitrate. I guess this is the reason for the smaller files with same quality.
...
Also interesting Using another encoder for AMD. But only for recording, not for streaming.

AviDemux
Easy, fast and lossless add and cut videos without re-encoding.
Btw. Due capture in Avidemux, if you play a part of your video, the audio is asynchron, but when you save the file, everything is good.

Used Keys are A + B and Delete.
If you want to cut a video up to the last frame you have to use the cursor from the menu > the 3rd Button from left.
Important
If there's an message about a keyframe choose "No" and go on like it did. Set the Endpoint new.

I shortend the video a bit.

in linux i use simple screen recorder (free) and in windows fraps (not free, but cracked by bad ass hacker that also runs a botnet on my windows box now)
for the more advanced user i say:
VLC (record desktop directly to file or network target)
or OBS:
For mac users i say:
put ur iphone in front of your computer screen and start the camera app and press record, ur a apple fan boy so everything is way more easy for you.
U can use virtualdub for quick recoding and few other tricks u might want to do.
If u need also cool graphics.u do it with www.blender.org
If u are short on encoding hardware i say record to stream.service like youtube or twitch... they will store amd encode the large files for you!!

that codec sucks anyway,... what codec u get from youtube? hmmm lets see:
https://itsfoss.com/download-youtube-linux/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wfUUZvybPY
a few silly command line options to download video of your choice
you UPLOAD the LIVE STREAMING video of your choice (via youtube)
saves u tons of HD space
and
saves u tons DECODE/ENCODE cpu time (trouble)
keyword: cloud computing
remember when using the youtube-dl the default with the * is the original video thats been uploaded without ANY "conversion"
(also used to be the first available video after the publish)
Downloading videos from websites could be against their policies. It’s up to you if choose to download videos.

@arkos, Thanks for posting that. Youre a good man.

Sadly the to Youtube uploaded videos are a bit blurry after their conversion, even if they are 2K or 4K.
To avoid that and keep the crispy Quality from your Original even in Youtube, you can do this.
Record them in 4k with Shadowplay, even if you play Full HD, and then compress it with Handbrake to 1920x1080 @60 hz in a "Constant Quality RF 0"
...
Hmm... i made a test, but i guess i fucked it up
I guess i have to make a clean Install of Handbrake first.
Perhaps someone can test if this works?
