Arkos, or anyone else, have you ever made or know if a micro-atx motherboard and a small case would be difficult to install and fit quality stuff in? Not dual video cards or anything. I'm thinking I want my next computer to be one because I hate big towers.

Some of the new Asus micro boards are great, built one a while ago for a HTPC in a fanless case and it runs BF1942 fine too.

They are not difficult to do but its all in the planning.  Get case first then you can see what will fit and go from there.

Yea, I've browsed a bunch. How his cooling them? With such cramped space and the heat from CPU and graphics card, you'd need some good cooling but it seems most heatsinks are large. The one on my current computer is massive!

A lot of them are using heat pipe technology taking the heat to one side of the case where it is dissipated.

There are some mini case, where you can plug mAtx Boards.

Those boards can handle also highend CPu's and Graficcards.

I've been looking at different m-atx cases, but probably won't go with the slim ones or ones specifically made for the micro ITX ones. Probably a short tower or a cube. Quite a few good ones available

I won't get one for awhile. Just keeping my eyes open and reading up on them ^.^
