Any old song of your country that you like. Even they are communist, imperialist or fascist songs
I will start with this one

Anh vẫn hành quân - I am marching (1964)
This song was writen after 10 years of battle of Dien Bien Phu but it lyric is about the story of old battlefield
Well I hope it's not fully off the topic cause it's not from my country, but I really like the soundtrack from David Robbins in the war-movie (1998)
"Savior" It's about the war in Bosnia 1992 - 1995.
The whole film can be seen here (german)
I like this one.

And of course, The Sacred War. This song always gives me chills.
War between France and Prussia 1870
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQhXudZG72s
This is the story of a little girl who has become beggar after losing her mother and her father in the war. She is refusing the money that a German occupier is offering.
A song written by German political prisoners in a nazi labor camp (1933). Often performed in the French army.

« But for us there is no complaining,
Winter will in time be past.
One day we shall rise rejoicing.
Homeland, dear, you're mine at last. »
But the most moving military songs are from Russia. Even if you don't understand the lyrics. It sounds like an entire people is singing.

After Egypt won 1973 war vs israel

Thanks for Soviet comrades to prevent that to happen.
Thank you also and above all USA.
The French and the Brit still wanted to play the imperialist boys just like the good old days. I'm afraid loss of power and gain of wisdom do not necessarily go hand in hand.

Very atypical (and beautiful) military song sung by French soldiers during the First Indochina War (1946-1954)
«...Opium, dream poison
Smoke rising to the sky,
It is you who is raising us
To artificial paradise.
I see the sweet face,
The eyes of my beloved.
Sometimes I have her image
In a cloud of smoke... »

More bagpipes
"Zaporizhyan march" (by the name of a region), or just a "Cossack`s march". A musical composition that is considered to be a march of ukrainian kossacks that existed as a more or less independed military and administrative formation (depends on political situation) in about XVI - XVIII century.
In fact this piece of music was created by one blind musician in the end of 20`s by mixing one ukrainian folk song and some unknown folk melody that he has heared from another old folk musician.
Here it is with footage from a movie "With fire and sword".

And also I like this remake of one ukrainian folk song "The cossacks rode" (Though I`m not sure if I`ve translated the name correctly).

Just wanted to add this one.
A historical reconstruction of some cossack`s skills and honestly more like a beautifull show. But who knows.

Hope it`s not too much off topic.
