Help Needed!
I Bought one more vps from the google located in florida USA (Blink Blink)
I am thinking of hosting a server located in USA (blink blink)
I downloaded the files needed for hosting server
~Dedicated server then final update then I use bfserver manager.
But no one can't connect that server.
I need port forwarding?
Or i disable firewall..
I am using window 2012 (server)
Ram 6 gb
Core 4
SSD 250 gb
Bandwidth 4 TB
Downloading speed 100 mbps
P.s:- i even not playing bf1942 anymore but still want to host server (blink blink)

Ports are open on a VPS Server i thought. Otherwise allow BFServerManager + Server.exe in WindowsFirewall.
Is masterserver-Adress right?
Otherwise edit the "host.con" file in System32\drivers and add there "94.23.196.155 master.gamespy.com"
...
Normally the server *.exe should have replaced the old adress with the new "94.23.196.155 master.gamespy.com" adress
...
If the Servermanager is running people should be able to connect.

I will add Bfservermanager.exe in firewall and where is server.exe is located..
I added all port in firewall..
Que:- Do i need Bf1942 whole game for running the server?
Que2:- How to add admin commands in server also how to make admin in server?
que3:- i am thinking about adding 128 players because specs are good enough to handle it?

Just download ServerFiles, and not the game. (ServerFiles are without grafics).

Start BfServerManager.exe and exclude this in Firewall, add maps, config it, start the server, load the game from your PC, Alt tab to peek into Bfservermanager, click on "User" and add your name (some name, doesn't matter), there, write a PW and save it, then go to "players" right click on your Playername > copy keyhash to user "your before saved Username" then save this in section "Users" and as last thing, activate all the permissions and save it again. (Now save it global.)
> Now you can start your BfRemoteManager, login to your servers BFServermanager with your Username, IP/Port of your server and your Password.

If i'm not wrong, you can just dl and unpack Road to Rome and Secret Weapons to your Bf1942Server\mods-Folders "Xpack1 for RtR" and "Xpack2 for SW"
Stop the server via Remotemanager and add now also Maps from RtR&SW, (if you want to run them) and start the server again via Remotemanager.
