Well... I found a download that actually works... just no widescreen... is there a special patch for that?

Edit: got it, widescreen patch installed, no server showing up but I don't think I should expect a very alive multiplayer.

One last thing... anything to put the game above 30fps????

Btw. could it be they play only with 1.20? (Perhaps you could connect with tuia's patch 1.20)

Edit: Ok i saw, some are playing with 1.20 some with 1.21. Then just connect manually to the servers or edit your Host-file as it's described in the link above.

Lol, both of those downloads don't work, the first one "can't be found" in German, the second one voilates Gaayge's "terms of service" and is gone.

Oh, an I just found 1080p @ 144fps option.... nevermeind that.

Just modify your preferred DNS server or edit your hosts file with the relevant bfvietnam lines.

(They wrote this on their site).

I just play on a server. I connected manually. Once you connected you can add a server to your favorite list.

Hmmm I'll try to connect manually but the only server with players on it on Gametracker with more then 2 players is a server ironically in Vietnam...

^Not worth it for me lol, China and Canada? since I'm used to 8 ping in BF1942 I've became a ping whore... I always get fustrated when I notice ping advantage and I'm very sensitive for ping and FPS and stuff...

No problem tho I can suprisingly enjoy myself with singleplayer and if I'm done with that well I know BF2 is still active so...

Hi! I stumbled on this thread through a search and thought I would help. BFV is definitely alive. There is Hello server and Griffin server(with bots also). There are a number of empty servers that can be played on. Also, the Vietnam Clan server is cool, but the ping can get pretty high. They play fiercely too and move in ways that you don't expect. They're still learning to fly though. I know of a site where the discs can be downloaded for free. It's in Russian though. They have all of the fixes and even a way to play in any version of BFV that you want to. Some servers are still at 1.2. It would be great to bring back a server with super mods like TKO used to have. You can find videos on youtube. If you have any unsolveable problems, please feel free to write me. Soo just for fun i decided to try and run a BFV server, its just running the WW2 mod with some bots. Unfortunately it gave me a hard time about witch ports to use (same query port as bf42 standard)
