Forgotten Hope Revisited

Hi, you probably remember me from these forums and also you've clicked once on icons in my signature.
I am working on my own BF1942 mod based on Forgotten Hope, Forgotten Hope Revisited. It was last time updated almost 4 years ago but finally I managed to work on it again on daily basis.

Arghhh... this shaking telescopic sight is to much, but the animation of entering vehicles is nice. Would be nice if the motor would start with a delay, just after beeing inside the vehicle, but i guess this is not possible.

Excellent work. I am very impressed by the fact that you made this mod by yourself.

Those vehicle entry animations are nice. As far as I know the tank hatch vehicle entry animation already existed within the stock Animation files but was never used anywhere, is it the same for the plane entry animation or did you create that one by yourself?

You should definetly host an event for this mod.

Well, I think this shake is still not even close to what man in a tank experiences. I'd like to add a delay for engine but currently I have no idea how to do it

Thank you! Yes, it works as always, changes are only visual. But you can kill a player while he is entering a vehicle

Much appreciated, thanks. You are right, they already exist in files, but there was a number of issues which I couldn't fix for a long time.
I'll definitely create an event after releasing a new version. There is a server, but it's not working at the moment

If you look in the soundscript for the plane, there is a "Engine Start" part, i think you should be able to use that to add a delay. I dont think many even notice it in the standard game because its so subtle.

please finish this fast if possible, my ping on Fra would be 100, better than shitzel fighter douchebags, and people actually die in this game, could you possibly up the smg hitreg and damage? esp for thompson, I just feel that in these games, you get hit like twice upper body, as in above the waist, by anything, you should die, FH was awesome but also left things to be desired, good to see someone filling in those gaps

Yes, but that's about sound, I was thinking about some "timeout" which prevents vehicle movement for 2 seconds, for example

Well, two hits from SMGs are enough in most cases. Hit registration is hardcoded so it's almost impossible to improve it

Indeed, this mod makes lot of fun. They give the Forgotten Hope 0.7 Custom Maps a future.:-) I think if the mods set only of the Conquest mode, they have not the same alive chance.
