SiMPLE FRA

Anyone have any ideas why I cant see Simple FRA server in the server list in game?

I can join it via IP address but I don't see it in the list

Mmm yes thought the same thing but I can see all of the other Simple servers just not that one

Seems to be working fine for me. Does it still persist? Try updating servers list for some 5-10 times or adding server manually and tell me at what exact time you did this.

Yeah have refreshed it multiple times and I know it is working because I was chatting to Dakota on TS and it was him that gave me the IP address, he also told me that he could see it.
I can see the RTR +SW server and the New Maps server but not the FRA BF42 which is a bit odd, I will give it another go tonight.

Ok tried refreshing the list 15 time and it still will not show up so going to try a fresh install at the weekend unless anyone has any other ideas?

Jesus Villamor, I am currently using Debian 8 and Openbox as window manager, Wine version is 1.6.2. I am testing out other distros and desktop environments/window managers until I find a good one. Debian used to be my preferred Linux distro, but they switched to systemd, now I am testing other distros without that plague.

DinkW, spam that Update button and tell me the exact time, something like, I updated 15 times BF1942 servers list and still no SiMPLE FRA server showed up, at exactly 09:10 WET.

Ok the results are in............(drum roll please)

Spammed update button as requested  at 19:15 -19:16 and again at 19:22-19:23 GMT still not showing up

Tried your fix Arkos and the only server that appeared in Favs after applying it was FRA RTR+SW.

I am beginning to think it must be the install so will try a fresh install tomorrow and post results.

How come you get to see 101 servers and for me only 53??? Now I feel like I'm missing something...

Ok well I finally got around to re-installing the game and yes that did finally fix the problem and I can now see the FRA server.

It is worth mentioning that if you do find yourself in a position where you need to re-install then make sure you remove all traces of the old installation.  I found that even though I had removed the EAGAMES folder completely all of my settings were still there after I had re-installed the game and also so was the fault.  Turned out to be in the Windows User folder where Windows had kept a copy of the settings, deleted that one and installed again and all is now good.

Ya, in documents there can be placed a Settings folder, but mostly from Bfsm or other mods.

Still doesnt make sense, why to install the game new. Perhaps it was just the Serversetting.con or some other *.con file.

But if this resolved the problem, ... great.
