is this base attack?

so i was trying to get a new plane since i only have a zook and no wrench and then this nub bombed me with his b17. i asked why he did that and he said it's allowed.

Bailing back into your main does not make you safe. You are a fair target.

It would be a bit different if they carpet bombed the entire base just to kill you while also killing others/destroying vehicles.

Bailing back into your main does not make you safe. You are a fair target.

It would be a bit different if they carpet bombed the entire base just to kill you while also killing others/destroying vehicles.

so bailing in my base gives them the right to kill me even if didn't engage them or perhaps just bailed for a tank or another plane? is that how the rule works? i ask this so no misunderstandings in the future

It appears you were fighting that mustang in the beginning (or did the mustang attack you while you took off?). Once you begin to attack or leave main, you're fair game even if you bail back into main for any vehicle. Doesn't matter if you didn't engage the b17. You were already fighting the mustang when the b17 went after you.

fight with mustang was alright since it started in the middle of the map. my concern was with the b17 which i didn't engage and simply went to base for a new plane since i was low on hp. after noting no body was around i bailed to get a new plane but then boom b17 bombed me out of nowhere. regardless, from what i read that's a fair a kill and that's how the rule works. hopefully i wont get in trouble when i do some of those kills.

yes. but the taxi rule is valid even if you taxi with plane.

You're breaking the rules  if you bail to jump into a tank or to get a new plane.

It's a cheap and kindda weird kill, but just such precautions you have to take when playing vs. Darcano :-)

It's not like Kevin bails straight into a new plane in front of others waiting - there is no taxi involved in this video.

1) Its a bit stupid flying with zook and then saying I didnt have wrench so I could repair - had to crash the plane as you do the same every time ? Maybe its just me, but anytime I see fisherman's son flying he uses zook. But lets leave it, I also do not always fly with engi, but im really useful on the ground with medic ( if I bail once in a while)

2) You were dogfighting me before (active), then you went to base and bailed, you are a legal target. ( Nice camera work in that df btw. Bit jealous.)

3) You shouldnt get in trouble with the same, but the problem is many none-regular players start reporting "base attack" on anyone who they see attacking while they do not know the rules.

If I'm not mistaken he did bail into the plane he started with already because his camera is glitched as far as I can tell and that happens when you bail into a plane.
