Battlefield Vietnam Server not listed in game browser

Hey I've started hosting a Battlefield Vietnam server,
and can successfully connect and play with people who have the ip.
Alot of people use the gamespy patched version of this game by team-simple which uses qtracker as the master server.

But  I cant get the server to be listed on qtracker so it shows up in the in game server browser.

you can find a list of servers listed on qtracker:
qtracker.com/server_list_details.php?game=battlefieldvietnam

I see other servers ip's disappear and re-appear from this list as if the server is changing maps so i guess its still working.

Ive successfully added the server to gametracker website also so i know the server can be seen.

I have also opened all tcp and udp ports and added the following to my hosts file on the server (Linux machine).

65.112.87.186  bfvietnam.available.gamespy.com
65.112.87.186  bfvietnam.master.gamespy.com
65.112.87.186  bfvietnam.ms0.gamespy.com
65.112.87.186  master.gamespy.com

can anyone help me with this as i do not know what to do next.
