Panzer_ in Battle of the Bulge

Hi,

Half hour ago we played Battle of the Bulge and i was the only one left to capture flag. Player Panzer_ kept reporting my position to the enemy, i asked him a few times to stop it.

Since we were with ~10 players i had a pretty good change to capture a new flag but thanks to Panzer_ it was impossible.

Many thanks.

Re: Panzer_ in Battle of the Bulge

Theres nothing bad in reporting position of friendly player, if he's the last one.
In Allied main base (Captured by Axis) was a player in Tiger tank.
You thought that you can kill Tiger with a Sherman in main base? Good luck!
I'm sure that Axis wont be that stupid to leave Allied main base without protection
10 players. 5 for each team.
Bulge with only 10 players? 5 for a team?
What a interesting match...

+ You fell into river.
It took too long, good that I hastened your coming death. The axis could find you.

"Theres nothing bad in reporting position of friendly player, if he's the last one."
Your own rules.

I deliberately jumped into the river to escape the given position and swim to the other -unguarded- flag.
Yes Berlin, my mistake. It is good to admit mistakes.

Thats not my "own rule" It's my opinion.
If only one player stayed and he have small chances to cap flag, then giving his position to enemy is not bad.
It happens many times.

You still was very close to Allied main base.
Swimming to other uncaptured flag would take so long.
I think that you wanted to swim to E5 Outpost.
That flag is not defended by any walls etc. it only have one bunker, and some trees near.
Axis could use tanks to kill spawned players.
If some players somehow escaped, axis wouldn't have a problem in catching them.

And start spawnkilling fest...

Re: Panzer_ in Battle of the Bulge

As you can see+, I appreciate that you report each other for allmost the same thing.
If the last player of a team is afk or doing nothing to get a flag (like for no reason just fooling around without approaching a flag or running into the empty desert/totally absurd places or swimming into death),
i see no problem to report his Position. Otherwise not pls, even if it is obvious that the team has no chance to win anyway.
I mean since when do we stop fighting in that situation and do not try to reduce the size of the defeat/enemy victory?
In reality it would have been better for some parties but that is not a game were you should enjoy the epic moments of a last fight or turnaround.

The problem that I see with this is that neither one attempt to notify an admin
that their teammate is no longer going for a flag [in their opinion], and instead,
had decided for themselves to inform the enemy of their teammates' position..
Not cool..

And this time it's from a player who justifies teamkilling, of all things:

Sometimes teamkill is necessary evil to protect other teammates from a bad teamkiller.
Its preventing teamkills.

The logical fact is that teamkiller will sooner or later get be killed by his own allies.
Personally, I do not support any teamkilling.
However, it should be understood that in some situations teamkill is justified.
When there is no administrator who can help them with bad teamkiller, people will administer justice themselves.
And they fight the teamkiller.

Wrong.

Revenge tk is still a tk.

When a purposeful tk occurs and then there's a revenge tk, I kick both.

Well, that good.
Teamkills are bad, but as i wrote.
When theres no administrator who can help them with bad teamkiller, people will administer justice themselves.
Now, who can stop teamkilling?

What happens when theres no admin? And players are still getting teamkilled?

You better hope someone doesn't come here and report you for "administering justice" with screenshots/videos
