cfg

My bf42 (including mods) has a very stupid and weird problem. I am unable to save my configuration and it is reset every round. If I change the name through console, next time I play it gets automatically changed back to "Albanian BALLIST". Same goes with other settings such as sensitivity. This issue exists since last october. If I format my PC everything will return to normal, but I want to avoid this. Is there any way to solve my problem? neutral

i tried changing config files manually but that didn't help (or i didn't change needed files/nodes).

thnx in advance

Re: cfg

Check if C:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\Battlefield 1942\ exists. If it does, delete it and check the game

It looks like you marked a cfg as read-only.

Wow! Thank you so much ziba. Firstly your answer didn't solve my problem, but after restarting the PC my problem seems to be solved. Thank you again! God bless, take care. wink
