That made me think... also because my mom starts to nag about the weather here... that it is so strange lately and this and that. But also anyone here seen the news about something huge pass through our milkyway which also interact with our sun, solar system and weather?

Re: Weather topic

some says that the earth is melting, and some others says its quite the opposite, but what i know is that the climate is just crazy for example:i have seen snow at the mountain range of my region like 2 weeks ago, that is strange knowing that in my región we get like 29º to 35º celsius in summer, and we are getting used to hear warnings for hurricanes  approaches, that would be imposiible to hear back in the 90´s.

Here it is summer time.. but we got some major (small) storm clouds going over the Netherlands about every one day.

Back home in Thailand we still have these tropical rain storms... water drops as big as uuh.. hmmm.. how to say... as big as a good spit? (chinese will understand what i mean)

Re: Weather topic

Saw some theori that the weather on earth might be influenced by our position in the spiral arm.

because galaxies commonly have arms that branch, merge, twist unexpectedly, and feature a degree of irregularity. The possible scenario of the Sun within a spur / Local arm emphasizes that point

Na, i don't think it has some influence on weather. The magnetic field of the sun surrounds the entire Solar system.

They most likely have, even other galaxies have influence, an other galaxy jet could even kill all as:) powerful objects probably even have micro influence on dna of conciving living beings, weird.

Debatable: friction produce heat, heat radiate lot of lower of visible elecrtomagnetic waves that took off some energy into spase, losing energy makes losing mass, losing mass with same speed makes our orbit wider and we become far to sun, that makes our planet cooler..

Re: Weather topic

about the climate change:

Some countries have hostile climate not making possible to live in certain places such as the center of Australia, were the 80% of population is concentrated in 5 cities, so the question is:

How does the climate change affects countries like: Australia, Canada....etc?

by the date of today i suppose we all have heared about some cities around the planet are going to be flooded due to the ice melt at the poles, but we have no news from those countries that have hostile climates.

They are spraying the skies with chemicals out of planes and the sun is no longer yellow or golden, it's white like an LED light.

One sec... *goes outside* Yup, Sun is still normal color.

Technically, the Sun IS white. You must always be looking at it during the middle of the day or you play bf42 on the space station.

Re: Weather topic

yup, the sun is all colours mixed together which appears white to our eyes

however the atmosphere acts as kind of a radiation filter and the short wavelength colours get scattered while only reds oranges and yellows get thru so thats why it appears yellow/orange sometimes when viewing it  from  the earth

Re: Weather topic

Earth’s north magnetic pole is moving, researchers say.

It has moved so much, so quickly that a group of scientists hurried to change a model that helps guide shipping, airplanes and submarines in the Arctic Ocean.
