Bias about movement

I call bullshit on any admin thinking they can call bug / glitch for using crouch and or z together to fire and not get shot
Its normal play, allowed for all

Re: Bias about movement

Yeah thats not what I do, and its a ridiculous restriction when no other servers are forbidding merely using crouch and or prone together, people don't want to fully stand up from prone, they want to keep low still, so they hold crouch, like duh,
thats how the game works, how you use the controls, its complete nonsensical bullshit to think its not playable or killable

Totally agree...that is prone bug...I can't compete fairly...gonna get pwned if I don't but probably will anyway jumping...not very good at it but probably the best you can do without scripting.  I would advise you to tread carefully....on the US server it will not be tolerated.

Re: Bias about movement

It's a good thing that we reflect on this issue here on the fra server as well. I'm pretty sure Bailer.Merlin has a lot to tell us since he is banned using this. More time on the forums... If this is allowed then we can lift the ban. He will get himself banned within a  few days anyways he can't seem to learn this guy. Man my 4 year old kid learns faster...

Complete and utter shit, its called evasion, and then firing back, works well with cover, totally legit, its not even a bug of actual hitbox, its a matter of the target making themselves hard to hit, while defending themselves, that makes no sense to restrict, especially when its a matter of keys, no environment abuse, its keeping a small profile thats fast to be shot, no different than others

Re: Bias about movement

It's not a dolphin dive.  Like I said, you do not do it good merlin.  But you are trying to do it properly and I am not going to write a book on it.  It's borderline at best.
BS aside...as far as I am concerned, Twigs is spot on.  Any attempt to perfect that move...ie a lateral prone bug jump....... is illegal.

My understanding that when a player dolphin dives, they jump and then hit the prone key midair landing prone on the ground. That would be a totally different move.

I will ban 90% of league players if I*ll take this video as example of forbidden moves. I'll start from today and see reaction....  It's common sense that player should be able to hide behind hills, sandbags, destryed vehicles, etc.

No no no, there is a difference between pressing z key in open space, or pressing it behind obstacles like crates, barrels etc.. League players who would excessively bug behind obstacles would have been banned already, so your statement is simply false and unfortunately even encourages Merlin in his wrong assumptions about bugging. What you guys called dolphin prone is still a dick move but proning behind little huddles, crates, barrels and sandbags is the worst thing and banned in the league.

Every infantry naturally bugs around from time to time. Involuntary though but everyone does. Hide behind a sandbag by prone jumping, you already influenced your hitbox and bugged a little. But the huge difference is that most players don't do it on purpose unlike Merlin in the video. In the video, he prone bugs behind obstacles numerous times and I'm sure he knows that he renders himself untargetable by doing so.

And e.S. players who use open space prones are normally flamed in the clanwars I play. Just to repeat that again, the bugging part in this video isn't in open space, although it still is a dick move to do, it is behind obstacles like crates, huddles and planks. (Look at the first seconds of the video. He bugs behind the plank, rendering himself untargetable.)

It shows intent quite well and is not something a player in merins position should be attempting to exploit further.

Extend his ban based on those replies, we don't need to tolerate that kind of stuff!
If he can't be nice here, then we don't need to consider lifting his ban but instead just extending it!
As a matter of fact, it's not the first time he calls names and other insults towards us in his ban appeals.

I won't ban him afterwards, and I'm not going to ban more based on all his insulting on this forum. If he gets out of line on the battlefield I'll kick/ban him for that but I won't ban him longer then necessary, unless he come over to insult again on this forum, then the ban needs to be extended.
