Patch russian letter - download - help

Guys,

I installed the game again few weeks ago from simple download link but I´ve been getting alot of messages in game written in russian letters. Even the BMC tag is written differently. Can you get me a patch link to fix this?

No, the issue is that the game does not use UTF, it uses codepages. You can choose between Windows-1252 and Windows-1251:

Any character above 127 will be interpreted differently based on which codepage you are using. The patch just changes it from 1252 to 1251. There is no way to know if a user meant to send a È or an и.

check your settings by writing chcp in a Command Prompt, to change value write chcp followed by the figures you want to use.

I changed it back again, the "spam" emails started to come in weird languages.

Sry guys, no idea what you are talking about. This is the first time in 10 years of this game I have this ingame. Letters in russian, turned right to left, etc. Probably the game I installed, no cd, was patched like this...
