I tried to connect to my server using BFRM 2.01 (for BF42) but always got this error:
"Couldn't connect to Server Manager! Remote manger couldn't authenticate with sever manger''
Could you guys please help me get rid of this problem?
Thanks!

Take everything and place it into a plastic bag...swing it over your head a few times...then launch the bag into the pool. Problem solved.
If it's your server...... should you not be using BFSM instead of BFRM?
Do you have BFSM manager running on your server and is it version 2.01 or version 2.0final, these must match.
Is it a Linux or Windows server?
On the server itself check the settings in the "ServerSettings.con" file and make sure these match with those being entered into RM.
An authentication error would normally be just that, the details you have entered do not match those on the server. Try looking at the server while you are attempting to log in, on a Linux server more information is given in the terminal window as to why the login failed.
Also check your BFSM port is set to the one on your server and not simply the default.

Ah well I would have thought there in lies your problem the 2 different types are not compatible.
A quick google search for the windows version throws up this as a result.
