SiMPLE USA Mainbases

The SiMPLE USA admins have been in discussion recently about where mainbases end and battlefields start.   Over the coming days we will be posting images of maps in order to illustrate where we consider the mianbases to be and promote a wider discussion.  There seems to be as many opinions on mainbase limits as there are maps themselves.  So please feel free, whether you are an old-timer recalling the mighty lore of the olden ways during the golden age of battlefield 1942 when giants walked amongst men, or a newbie who's still getting a feel for the game; all well-thought-out opinions are welcome.

All the maps should have death bubbles around the uncaps.

All the maps should have death bubbles around the uncaps.

They do but some of the death bubbles extend out further and others are quite close.

Hey, I recommend using a image host such as imgur.com.

I don't want to pester you, but the image host you are using has ads and it even sneaks a few popups on my iPad safari.

A big problem is Berlin. It is a great infantry map but it can be completely unplayable when Axis is camping the Allied base with a tank and everyone is throwing grenades in. This causes half the allied team to switch to Axis which further makes a break out impossible.

Thanks mate.  I'll take those images down tomorrow and reload them with a better image hosting website.  I'm running Adblock so I don't see any popups or ads.  Pit had said something about bikini girls but I thought he was just joking.  Sorry about that, I should have been more careful.

I just opened one on my iPhone and I see what you mean.

Kharkov will cause a lot of confusion. Better make it B5 and G5 at max. Because noobs will always shoot the planes from the captured flag. Just my opinion, sorry if unneeded.

Given the view distance, there is no way to tell if a plane in that vicinity has just taken off, or is on an attack run. In any case, it's very close to the enemy flag and if you don't fire on it, you are likely to die.

I fly like this
- Yellow = safe (max = end of b5 as Allied and middle g5 as Axis)
- Blue = safe
- Red = safe
- past the red line I will attack planes

2 squares is easily enough time to get above the hill, if you don't go above the hill (in the middle of a round) you are a noob and don't know how to public.
Also the Axis got a longer runway because the base starts earlier so they deserve less runway past the base

I replaced the images I uploaded earlier with ones supported by imgur.  There shouldn't be any bikini girls or popups anymore.

Moon''s Karkhov looks about right so that's what I'll enforce from now.
