Good, but there are around 10 new maps never played, so if we play them first it will take 5 hours and old maps won't be played

It's a very good idea to arrange a weekly event day in New Maps server. I propose on Friday around 18:30 CET to play 2 maps, around one hour playing time.

Releasing a smaller installer SiMPLE-BF1942-New-Maps-2013-07-08.exe with 9 custom maps to play in SiMPLE | New Maps [FRA] server. 3 new custom maps have been added: Al Jarah, Corsica and Operation Lüttich. Download it from Dev-Host or directly from http://team-simple.org/download/SiMPLE- … -07-08.exe. It's a 188 MB download size. The installer will work for both disc-based BF1942 and BF1942 Origin download.

Maps included:

• Al Jarah

• Battle for Korsun SE

• Corsica

• Faid Pass

• Liberation of Nuenen

• Operation Forager

• Operation Lüttich

• Remagen

• The Great Pursuit

New Maps server will be running those 9 maps and probably some other classic BF1942 maps, too.

The problem is in original Great Pursuit map, COOP mode crashes game on joining server. I can't seem to fix it, it is probably an easy find, maybe someone can help.
Nevertheless, that map can be played in Conquest mode with bots. Also, Liberation of Nuenen map was added to rotation list.

Tuia, remove bots from conquest mode on both servers, or I haven't another solution to setting map without them every time.

Without some bots on servers, they will be most of the time empty. I've reduced number of bots in RtR+SW server and you can now use !nobots command.

Hi I have so suggestions to improve game play and more fun.
To start with is Essen. There s the problem with Allied Bots doing nothing the whole game.
Simple, (hehe) just remove Allied ground spawn point in their main.
Modders can experiment (I guess) add maybe 1 or 2 APC with spawn inside vehicle.
Or I was thinking add another transport plane with spawn inside.
Maybe the transport plane(s) should spawn high up somewhere behind Allied main, to avoid a bot crashing the plane too soon.
Also the spitfires and jetplane should have spawn points inside. and maybe add 1 more spitfire ?
Just some ideas, for now....

1 more thing, those Hound light Allied tanks on Algeria map. Can they be used on other maps, like Gothic line could do with 3 of them, replace the bikes, more kaytuska be awesome I think
And give us hand held sw weapons like Bren and all the others, like gewerh43 on all sw maps

Hello mussels,

Thank you for your feedback. In Essen map, what about replacing Allied mainbase spawn point with a parachute spawn point? Essen is a tricky map for Allied bots.
I don't think those Hound light tanks can be added to other SW maps, I believe they are specific to Raid on El Agheila map. About the hand held weapons, they can be added or maybe another idea is to have medic (Bren LMG) and engineer (Gewerh 43) kits laid on the ground so you can pick them.

About Greyhounds - that's a bad tank, it's something between APC and light tank, but weaker than Sherman and Panzer 4. Only good things Greyhounds have it's their speed and 2-nd place for shooting planes.

i've seen on the BiHnet server a year ago, that in the morning they had a rotation with bots (from 3:00 to like 12:00 i believe) (to fill up the server and prevent it from being empty) and after 12:00 they had a rotation which removed bots.
If SiMPLE RTR +SW could have the rotation this way the server wont be empty and everyone will be happy

Yeah, it be fun to have weapons lying around, and paradrop for Allies on Essen. Give it a try...
