PB + bf 1942 + win7
So one of my clanmates installed his game again today. After some time on the server he gets kicked with following message:
He already dowloaded the pb folder and replaced it with the one that got installed.
I don´t know any solution by heart and I´m to lazy to search on the internet so i thought i ask here.

Hi Zody!
He should run bf1942 as an administrator (right click on bf1942 icon and in the options, search for "run as administrator") and save it.
+ set winxp sp3 comaptible setting also.
+ if this is not working, he should check his firewall options and search for pnkbstra.exe and pnkbstrb.exe and allow both.

check on moongamers they got few automatic pb updaters it may help.also I got a program think it was called tankbuster from neutron that helped with probs with pb

We tried the Moongamers solutions and they didn´t work for him. He has the latest pb version. No firewall enabled.
How to do an error log on punkbuster?

Something is blocking PnkBstrA.exe outgoing connection from his computer, probaly a firewall or an antivirus. He has to configure it to allow access to PnkBstrA.exe and PnkBstrB.exe.

SO we fixed the pb problem and tried to use your widescreen fix tuia. When i try to move the crack into the directory it asks if i want to create a shortcut on the desktop. That means i cant replace the original one with the crack. Even when i removed the original it asked if i want to create a shortcut when i moved the crack into it.

so im playing woth the widescreeen patch now. Is there any way to fix the scoretable font?

Changing the video settings ingame will change the appearence of the text. I think mainly the chosen ingame resolution affects this.

What are the two resolutions? Game UI was designed for 800x600 resolution, font in some resolutions looks bad.
What widescreen fix does is to allow to pick any supported resolution from Video menu and not stretch image for resolutions with aspect ratio different than 4:3.
