problem with bf1942 hd...

Hello guys, does anyone know how to get the blood patches and HD packages that the bf1942 has that I downloaded from this link, but leaving the new songs and loading screens of bf1942? http://team-simple.org/download/Battlefield_1942.zip I want to remove them because I usually play with mods and these things give ugly display errors like that an enemy in Galactic Conquest bleeds when you shoot him with a blaster or that in Desert Combat the flag uncapturable Iraq looks like the German flag, please :c ...

The installer on that link has been updated in the last few days, it now includes the two xpacks and doesn't have the mods it used to have, its a vanilla BF1942 install.

Try redownloading it and installing again.

If you want to use the new songs and loading screens of BF1942 HD installer, save the files in Movies\, Mods\bf1942\Movies and Mods\bf1942\Music folders, reinstall the game with the BF1942 vanilla installer and after that, overwrite with the files you previously saved preserving the directory structure.

I managed to remove the HD patch and now it looks vanilla, I just replaced the contents of the "archives" file with the RFAs from another vanilla directory that I downloaded and I can play without having to start configuring everything again, I love it!

Have all downloads added content? I would wish for a standard install and maybe add the extras beside so one could chose if one want to install them.

Im trying to get my "old team" back in the game for some weekend matches and it would be sweet to have a original install for them to download as they are not used to HD patches and such.

I did that, I put the HD files in a folder and the originals are working now, it's great to see that HD when I play it in vanilla games

You have the "know how" to fix such things, but there are some people that doesnt know how to do it. It must be simple as just klicking on a "yes or no" button

I am usually very meticulous with these things, thanks to that I know tricks to make my game more enjoyable and comfortable, although I usually play bfvietnam more
