That router problem will probably be fixed.
Check tihs website for current status of OVH network: http://status.ovh.com/. They are doing maintenance of the whole network: http://status.ovh.com/?project=9&status=all&perpage=50

Some players like those maps. In fact, I would bet Midway is one of the most popular maps in BF1942. It ranked 6th place in http://blogs.battlefield.com/2012/09/10 … ry-bf1942/ map poll. Midway and Invasion of the Philippines can be improved, though.
Well, you might be right, maybe us who has played this for 10years arent the average player 
But in that case I vote that you mod the shit out of them. For phillipines why not give axis a carrier? So we get rid of the rape in the beginning

Well I was away for 2 weeks in the caribbean so that why I was gone, came back last sunday but already these weekdays ive noticed this problem, and it has worsened during the fall. But anyways, lets see what happens, hopefully there will be more active admins online.

As soon as one of these maps come online (especially if its late) 1/3 of the people drops. Why are these even on the maproll? There arent many slower maps in the history of BF1942.

Since the last couple of weeks me and several others have seen our ping increase from 30-60 and now mine is usually around 90-100. Using tracert I found out that its probably a crappy router in France, but I dont know if u can do anything about it....

During the fall there has been a rapid decline in the number of active admins on the server, and people get sick of being TKd all the time. Have all the admins stopped playing? Then please get some more. Was better in the summer, when I reported a TKer he always got kicked, now the TKers just follow clan players around and ruin everything or maybe i'm just playing on bad hours, like weekday nights sometimes.
If you need more admins, just check some active clan players, I know there are some active at SiMPLE from TnS, pas42 and GUN, there arent many idiots in the top clans (of course, we have Timmos but no clan is perfect ).
And of course: You should make me admin! Ive been admin on many pub.servers during 03-09 (last one was LSSAH).
I urge you to fix this, there arent many options for public playing anymore
