To be honest, I am much more interested to see a "Korean war" mod for Battlefield 1942 as most of the equipment used in Korean conflict are in WWII origin. Plus the engagement of 2 fighter aircraft adapted the swept-wing concept from the Germans, i.e. F-86 Sabre and Mig-15. And the rise of helicopters in Medevac and transport role.

And of course, to simulate the conflict of 1950-1953 (w/c both North and South Korea, up to this day are still "technically" at war) of what was known as "The forgotten war".

Anyone had already tested Battlefield 1942 mods (e.g. BF1918, Desert combat, FH, EoD) on Windows 10?

I think there's no height requirement, as long as you have credentials (being a varsity player in college/universities or even in high school), drafted (similar to NBA Draft) and have a passion in basketball, then you're good to go.

And being short is not a handicap, but as an asset. Like Jimmy Alapag...

I check the new FinnWarsSP patch and it works well except for one, the player cannot choose any soldier class and only "Soldier" (I think Rifleman would be appropriate) were set as default.

Although I like the realism, I criticize the tank driving experience the mod was using, apart from lack of singleplayer/coop support (as some maps have trenches which bots cannot be used due to lack of 3D AI pathmapping). And unfortunately, I don't see any active or populated server/s for Finnwars these days.

So I think i'll only download this mod for archiving purposes.

I'm just curious, do you have an example in modding for BF1942 or other games? Like 3D model or some map/s?

Then how about to modify the bf1942.exe in order to run Battlefield 1942 smoothly on multiple-core processors? If it's possible, what hex-values needs to be edited?

AFAIK, only one-core per processor are working during gameplay, both lan/online and sp/coop.

In my point of view, the map needs more vegetation like trees and bushes especially on hills and some open fields to at least experience the jungle warfare in vanilla game. And I think it's best to remove the Japanese destroyer (Daihatsu-class landing craft is just enough) and tanks as the USAFFE forces did not operate M4 Sherman (instead, they use M3 Stuart) and the IJA Type 97 ShinHoTo Chi-Ha only first appeared at the Fall of Corregidor (05/06/1942) during the Philippines campaign between 12/1941~05/1942.

I'm frustrated to the vanilla map "Invasion of the Philippines" as it does not really represent my country very well...

You're complaining about other similar ingame nicknames, yet you're still avoiding this...

You're ridiculous behavior with your teammate/s brought this up, so better clean your own mess, or the server admins will do it for you.

Also, at the time where this incident happened (10:28~10:38 GMT+1) is that I'm not active in online gameplay due to intermittent broadband connection during daylights as well as in evenings. I'm just playing within 1:00~5:00 GMT+8 as I can only achieve stable internet.

I've just made an introduction here to clarify some report by player Arkos.

First of, the player "Jesus" doesn't have a surname. This indicates other players copying others' name to disrupt/tarnish reputation or rather intentionally didn't put any name at all (like blank name or using the default "Player").

Second, this player ^ I've also encounter here on SiMPLE[Fra] server several times including Gazala, Operation battleaxe and from other vanilla BF1942 servers like Schindler's list (Battle of Midway) and Moongamers where he intentionally killed me on Operation market garden while I'm walking on Arnhem bridge a few days back.

Third, I'M NOT and DO NOT intentionally killing (Teamkilling) my teammates with or without any reason.

Lastly, my name "Jesus Villamor" I'm using comes from a WWII Filipino fighter pilot who shot down 2 Mitsubishi A6M2 "Zero" fighter and a Mitsubishi G3M "Nell" medium bomber when both the United States and the Philippines dragged into the war in December 1941.

I hope this statement clarifies my innocence and continue to play on this server...
