Is there ANY way to get this running on a PC (school) that doesn't allow writing to registry?
I'm trying to play LAN with some classmates but any 'portable' version I can find just gives the "invalid cd-key" error, probably because writing the CD keys to the registry is forbidden on the computers.I tried every ''portable'' version but none seem to be truly stand-alone and not need the registry, I also tried the Origin version of the game with the http://par.nofate.me/ trick but it just closes the game after "Validating.".
Please help.
It would be funny to play BF 1942 included Mods via a Tablet or Mobile.
I think it needs a tool to converted it from DVD Retail or Origin to Mobile?
Is the any development to actually?
Or is the idea back to the dust bin?

I love this mod! Sadly, the admins of Pixel-Fighter are incredibly incompetent and power mad which makes it no fun to play the mod since PF is the only active server.
I recommend Forgotten Hope Secret Weapons instead.
I cannot agree this fact. The admins do the best for the players. And ask you as player, what for a map could be set next?
I have play on modern games on the server. And there you not be ask. You get a kick and ban and you dont know the reason why.
The PFC tell you what do you do wrong. If you follow the advice of the admin you get not in trouble with.
Visit the event and find it out?

Today we want to present you this Forgotten Hope 0.7 full release, you don't need the three parts and patching before. Because now you do it with one step all in one.
"The PFT team has prepared the new version of Forgotten Hope 0.7 link - all in one. It contains everything what you need to play on a newer system in HD resolution, only with the exception of Battlefield 1942. By this procedure we want to popularize FH and make the game easier." (PFT Tom)
Next step is to create a standalone Forgotten Hope 0.7 Mod, which don't need Battlefield 1942 anymore as basic. We the players know that from another games like Project Reality, Day Z or Black Mesa for example.

ATF is a legendary clan, i will hope to see you back the mod servers. Endless Nameless folllow other vision.:-/ Not than this we fell. Its your way. We support till the end. It doesnt matter what comes.
For my questions about the PB trouble and Ask for the moving train in a ready mod update or custom map, there is no feedback about it??? Its your way of communitcation. I am friendly to my followers.;) And help where i can in my way. YEEEEEEEEEEEES!

How old are you? 10-12?
By the way. You need this tutorial as BF 1942 Player, because that brings you back again.
The only one negative thing is, you get PB Kicks from the russian DC Server. There is no fix or solution so far.
If do you play FHSW, BF 1942 or only EoD you dont need it to set Win 98 and as Admin.

Firstly lets get one thing clear, this is not a tutorial its a bunch of links.
You certainly do not need to run this in Win98 Compatibility mode as this problem was solved some time ago I really cant see the point of any of this post ?I am with Nameless on this one.
If do you want to play Forgotten Hope 0.7 and want to play the mods barrier free, you will need it to set it in Win 98 and as Admin going!
If do you dont make it as Win7/8/10 user, you get a kick and crashes.

But PB still works its just not supported anymore?
As a tutorial this is sketchy to say the least but thank you for all of your efforts
I have test it self. And i get kicks only from the "DC.Maxnet.ua Server" because a PB abnormality.
I use the ORIGIN BF 1942 Game for play.
Yesterday I have try the PB 2013 update solution from the russian dc,maxnet.ua community.
But it dont works. Its possible the RETAIL BF 1942 works?! But i have not test it so far.
Why i have this santa claus as avatar? I like this crazy animation.:)

Whats your mind? It is a tutorial to come back online. Because lot of the people dont know and dont use this solution. But it is the best one and only.
Only problem is with the Punkbuster. But clever Server Hoster turn the PB off.

To Battlefield 1942 again to play online , you need the old BF1942.exe in " Origin Games" override folder , otherwise you do not get server disappears in your Gamespy :
Tutorial
The new BF1942.exe for Origin players :

If you have old BF1942.exe of Origin Games ( Origin Players ) folder or installed Battlefield 1942 folder , then - > ; Right-click the shortcut on the desktop BF1942 "Properties" - > ; " Compatibility " hook " Win98 " set - > ; Hook run " Run as administrator " is set - > ; Press " OK " , restart the computer and you 're back for you !
