fyi...your internet provider might have a thing or two to say about opening a server on your IP; some providers dont care...others will restrict use or speed or put a cap on data usage....

And you can't compare stats between USA and Switzerland on drugs, police activity , crime or anything else....Switzerland has almost no cultural diversity or large differences in income levels or social programs as compared to USA. There are federal and state laws since each state also have their own constitution.
(Driving permit age is 15.5 & licence is 16 in US)...
Driving license is good example; each state can have restricted licenses (have to drive with an older driver) and unrestricted licenses. Age for these unrestricted licences can be up to age 18; depending on the state.
State of Hawaii is in the news for its new law requiring all gun owners to be registered with a federal gun database and state of Hawaii notified if that person is arrested anywhere in USA>
