Go to your Battlefield 1942 folder > mods > bf1942 > settings > VideoDefault.con set a finite number of FPS, and see if it makes any difference.

example:

renderer.lockFPS 500

Actually, you have alot of screen tearing. When I first watched one of your vids, I  thought something was up with my pc.

Here's a pic taken from your video:

I just recorded 2 short vids just to test, and I could only see normal vibrations when shooting, without the jagged edges like in your case.

I'm pretty sure it's  because you don't use a frame limiter, + high FPS.

I get decend FPS on each map, but I don't really like the screen-tearing/stuttering that occurs at hi-framerates. My max refresh rate is only 75hz, so no wonder.

The screen tearing should be virtually gone, or atleast, barely visible @ 144Hz.

OS: Windows 10, 64 bit.

Ram: 4 GB

CPU: Core2Quad Q9450 @ 2.67GHz.  Non OC'd.

GPU: ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2  Non OC'd.

Resolution:  1280x1024*32 @75Hz.

Settings: Everything set on high.

Including;  FoV= 1.1,  GlobalLodRadiusScaleFactor= 0, mipmapbias= -8, Shadows/Lightmaps= on

Philippines: 230 FPS

Berlin: 262 FPS

Bocage: 565 FPS

I've also tested with low settings, which gave around ~15-25 extra FPS.

Windows 7: ~100-150 extra FPS.

I've never in my life seen anyone so hyper-sensitive about ''insults'' like 000.

Pure score-whoring is effortless. Therefore, not a skill in my book.

A skilled pilot may for example have a slightly harder time with aiming on a 200+ ping server,  but he would still know the moves to take down the  opponent. Leading distance is not much of an issue for those players.

And what I meant to say with the skill being very low currently, is that most skilled players have already left the game. While most noobs/averages and some mediocre players, have remained. Highly skilled pilots like DraGo, -=Raptor22=-, Lurch, will get bored. There's virtually no-one to give you a good challenge when you possess that type of skill. It isn't much fun to play ''alone'' on the server, If you know what I mean.

Somewhere in 2017/2018, I was wondering why the server was much calmer, and more fun.

Then I realized; 000 was inactive for a couple months at that time.
