Those distros that are based on Ubuntu will all basically work the same. I don't think they are much different under the hood. But sometimes some distros include certain libraries that can give you different results as to which applications you're trying to run.

So try your best, Arkosino, but beware of burnout please. big_smile

Can you post some screenshots where you're at right now and what you are having trouble with?

Hi Arkos, how are you? Glad to hear you're having fun with Drauger.

@seventy: I believe Beer from Asstralis play BF1942 through Ubuntu. At least I know he is playing on Linux 100%.

Yep, it's definitely working on Ubuntu for a lot of people, just not for me for some reason. Maybe it's just some simple tweaking, but I gave up. I think I might try out Drauger after I've made a backup of my partition.

#131 Re: Videos and Screenshots » High Scores » 2021-08-22 22:04:28

Nah, that won't workie workie. According to Distrowatch, Drauger (what a name) Linux is based on Xubuntu.

I haven't been able to even get BF1942 running on Ubuntu-based distros, so I think this is a success story that's specific to fellow player butcher.

It probably depends on your hardware configuration too, and maybe he was lucky that he got the right one for it.

As I said, tuia is doing some underground tweaking. We can't see him, but we can smell his presence.

joint, do you agree that the above stunt was one of the best Kung-Fu moves in European cinema history?

Try to watch this, for example. It's a good Soviet musical. English subtitles are available.

Nice. First Russian Western movie I have seen. I guess it would have been nicer if I understood Russian because of the musical lyrics.

By the way, best move:

What is some Russian movie you could recommend (preferably with English subtitles, of course?) I don't mind the genre. Can be a Stalingrad movie or something like "Karate Kid in Moscow."

If I got the information right, you can still get and spread the virus after being vaccinated, but the symptoms will not be as severe as without the vaccination.
