Saturday, February 24, 22:00 CET.

Ladies & gentlemen,

we finished the first rounds of the qualifying.
The battle was intense. In other words, it was quite a bit of work.

So, where do we go from here?
As you can see on the score board above, the highest score of each player is highlighted.
You may play as many qualifying rounds as you like, your highest score counts.
The 8 players with the highest scores may proceed to the quarterfinals.
It is obvious that it is very difficult to kick BF2024 out of his quarterfinal place.
In contrast, Darwahl has to improve his score in round 3 and/or 4,
else he might lose his quarterfinal place to a new, more successful player.

The quarterfinals, semi-finals and the final will be held in the Knife Pit, in classic duel, 1 vs 1.

Rounds 3 and 4 are being played tonight.
Due to a clan war we start 1 hour later, 22:00 CET.

Battlefield 1942 is a team game, Axis vs Allied, such is it's credo and we want to keep it like that.

although my regs on MoonGamers have always been three times better than on SiMPLE, you won't find me there.
I just don't like their mods, their politics and management.
As for the "shit admins", i'm happy with most of the currently active administrators here.

I enabled this option once, just out of curiosity.
It felt quite ridiculous, hearing Japanese soldiers yelling in German language all over the map.
Kills all the immersion in my opinion.
Besides, you should be able to get used to these radio messages and shoutings pretty quickly anyway.

Right now i wonder what this option does to e.g the Spanish version for Alfred or the French for Arp.

Anyway, of course brocco lee's narrator has to speak in English,
and of course he had to use the most handsome character in the game...

It's the diversity i like, all the locations have their appeal.
I like the rugged desert landscape with its mountains and gorges in Gazala.
The gloomy atmosphere around the destroyed Kharkov,
the urban combat within the ruins of Stalingrad in fog and smoke...
Alright, if i really have to decide, the European theater has the most, interesting battlefields,
like Caen, Arnhem, the Ardennes.

I'm not an admin, i'm just a player so i have a neutral view on this.
crypto _works1, the admins have decided to ban you from the server for doing some shitty things.
The usual procedure would have been for you to ask what you did wrong,
but instead you have tried to connect with a different name. That is what the admins call "evading".

Yes and no.
I mean it's a game about war, what you are complaining about is what others may call "action".
Certain maps work better with more players, some others with less.
As for the insane amount of planes... as far as i know this is the will of the server owner.
Obviously he wanted every player to have a plane, or at least not to wait too long for one.
Well, to me it seems this only benefits nerds and scorewhores, the gameplay suffers severely from it.
But this has been an issue for months, maybe years now.

Exactly these were my thoughts aswell.
Since several people think the same (and to nip in the bud a possibly thread full of insults & hate) i want to show you this -

In 2003 i was member of ^LCF^ - Luciferschosenfew, a UK based, multinational clan.
Back in the days we were playing Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (Battlefield 1942 wasn't even released).
We actually managed to organize a meeting. The leader of the clan, a U.S. Air Force sergeant, hosted the event.
A whole weekend full of BBQ, drinking and a nice LAN-party in the event hall of the U.S.A.F. base in Mildenhall, England.

The guys on this picture are Brits, American, French and Bavarian.
