Why do bf1942 stairs work badly for me when I play online?

For some strange reason, despite having 70 ping, the stairs work poorly and are very frustrating to use, it also happens when you are on large mobile structures, like ships, do you know how to make them work as if you were playing on SinglePlayer?

What are you talking about?
Your character is a super hero, yet he breaks his ankle when running or jumping down the stairs in a building. Normal.
Your character slips off the ladders when you try to get up to the MG platforms on the destroyers? Not normal, but there's a trick.
Go under the MG and press your enter key.

bf1942 is very sensitive to ping from what I see... it's the only bad thing I've seen so far, in more modern games 100 ping is good, but I can't understand why you need to have such a low ping (50 ping, 30 ping)  to be able to play without getting hit. fall from boats or without killing yourself trying to go down a ladder, it's rare
