To the brilliant minds among us: is there a way for a client to export the playerlist/slot-ID to a file
during a map? A function which could be built? If so, then it should be possible to convert that
data using RegEx, and activate it during game.
With the current platform accepting player-slots rather than nics, I would need to ignore all:
chatoff.txt
chat.addToIgnoreList 0
chat.addToIgnoreList 1
chat.addToIgnoreList 2then unignore chosen players manually at each mapload. ...Pain in the pooper.
Another thought was to use the buddlylist as an input:
game.addPlayerToBuddyListByName "I <3 chatspam"
game.addPlayerToBuddyListByName "teamkillerd00d"
game.addPlayerToBuddyListByName "troll01"yet the player-slot data is still unknown.
Thoughts?

Which map? Which edge of the map were you positioned? A video would have provided that
information, and if you could also press TAB after the death, it would show basic info of the
accused player. A player or admin on the other team may have noted his location to
further support your case.
Sounding like a broken record here, but "everyone please record their game".

P.S. Before that, about 50 kicks and bans from him were the same, for no reason.
I'd recommend that you spend less time in a video game, and more time learning simple arithmetic.
Of your 72 kicks & bans, 21 were from me. Nameless, hydra, jorgen, and Voji account for most others,
and a few other admins did the rest.

I look forward to seeing how Seven justifies his behaviour.
There are a few things incorrect with your itemized detail of events, but that's fine.
I'd like to emphasize that the kick had nothing to do with your chat with another player,
and was instead a delayed "kick" response to the derogatory comment. I was a bit
intoxicated and having a good time on Discord, and apologize for the confusion.
Unlike test01, you are not known to me as a common troll, and if you did not include
the "admin" in your comment, I could apologize for the kick.
But I am working on these provocations & reactions with the admins to have a better
outcome for all. It won't be an overnight success story, so everyone just please hang on..

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I have seen Seven warn and kick for spam chat, yet seen the others (friends?) chat about chugging, girls, ball games and other BS so much you can't even communicate with teams, and Seven does nothing, and at times joins in, so you need to be equal in your judication, ...ok now off the soap box :-)
There was no support in the admin forum for the excessive chat topic.
Just a few admins replied and the consensus was to let it be.
In summary - "You'll never stop people from talking".
Radio spam is a different issue, and is addressed.

Blitzkrieg, however, can't make it through a map w/o trolling someone tho..
I want admins to look into seVen's admin abuse as he regularly does this to people. I want an admin OTHER than seVen to comment on this.
How's the investigation going? I nervously wait for a subpoena to my inbox.

Look for modded files of the stock maps in your Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Archives\bf1942\levels folder.
If nothing there, check all other folders.
Content Check may have been enabled recently because I had to remove my developer files also:
Battle_of_Britain_009.rfa, El_Alamein_009.rfa, etc.

Have you checked the registry for that setting, then create a link which you can
simply click on to fix it?
If you have multiple input devices in your device mgr, USBDeview can help
determine which is which:
My screen will occasionally do the landscape flip, so I keep a shortcut on the taskbar.
Never had an issue with the mouse afterwards tho.

It has been discussed again in the admin section more recently than that post and
with the same outcome - half bridge is your stopping point.

Current admins pretending nothings happening as they dont want to lose admin rights. Can easily prove, but no one cares, complete shitshow this turned into.
The new administration does not want long bans for stacking, as mentioned in admin section topic.
A 1day/3days/1week etc. progressive action is not an option. Kicks & short bans are still available.
The original rules have not been updated, regardless of how many times we asked for it.
This page from Hilly is still in place, yet some of that has been repealed.
Is there a consolidated list here? If so, all others should be removed.

What is the minimum ban lenght that those players deserve? (Even the basesniper)

- firing one bullet at teammate/vehicle = !warn + !kill or !kick
- unloading entire clip and/or killing teammate = 15 minute ban
Known players = min 15 minute ban w/o warn.
Sry that I can't be on much Alf. Summer is far too valuable at this point in life.
The game is also boring as f**k with the same stale mods.
