Most of you guys probably spotted him only because of his so-called-provocative nickname. But for me? Well, Maj-ID10T is the one and only buddy of me among hundreds of players here. He usually plays while only few Americans like MajorWood are online and the rest of the world sleeping. And i love the way he plays. Everytime i get happy when i see him online. And i never ever seen him bothering or insulting anyone. Plays and leaves.

So, please, could you guys leave my buddy alone?! Thank you!

Casca, i don't know about that round, but i never witnessed 88 stacking, switching to the strong team. In fact, he always does the opposite, helps to the weaker team. May be it was 000 pretending to be 88? I expect that kind of action from him : D

As for the other issue, you and jorgen are totally right. I like the crow but if he or another player does any trick to get vehicles faster, again and again... They should be punished. That's the real abusing.

I didn't say they are more important than anyone else, my dear. Of course they are not. In fact i like newbies more. I always help them, motivate them, try to make them also regular players. If the situation is about "obeying/not obeying the rules" yeah, all the players are the same and should be treated as the same. On the other hand, of course those regular players are more important than everyone. They are the game itself. We mainly enter to the server to play with those regular players. Remove the first 20 regulars from here and there will be nothing left. No daily players=no server.

But, perhaps, i might have misexpressed my opinion on my previous post. Let me explain more clear:

A regular player is a regular because he feels comfortable here. That means he understands, accepts, and obeys the rules, respects the others. If you kick this guy of course he gonna feel humiliated. He gonna feel like an idiot peeing on the carpet. That's the reason why i said don't show any mercy for regulars, just kick them. I didn't say "they're important, spare them." I said just make them feel like a guilty kid. Embarrass them.

If a regular asshole keeps being an asshole then he shouldn't have been a regular player in the first place. That means most of the admins had tolerated him every time and he had been able to play on the server for thousands of hours.

And it looks like this topic is exactly about that "tolerating" issue. Hilly makes a statement above: "The system has been changed and no one will be spared anymore."

Anymore... That's good, that is the change. Just auferte malum ex vobis!

Anyway, my point is: You guys look real serious about banning Merlin for a month. People are celebrating, clapping their hands already. Yeah i hate him too but i don't think there should be a vote about him before slapping him in the ass real hard. Which should have been done a lot before!

This is the second time i advocate Merlin. Hehe

There are three types of admins here. Some of them usually don't give a sh*t about what's going on. They just play for fun, like any other ordinary player, ignore most of the reports and do the admin work only if they're involved in the situation directly, or when the report comes from a well-known pro player. This is the majority. Next, there's the soft grandma-grandpa type. Those are the ones who usually try to make everyone happy. They play mainly for order and management, paying attention to all of the reports, warning rule-breakers before taking any further action and loving cookies. Than there's the cold-blooded, the frosty kind. Those are the ones you can never discuss or argue publicly. They will not show you any sign of sense of humor and they will not have mercy on you if you break rules.

Looking from the other side... See how test01 and Igor yelling "Allez! Allez! Allez!" ?

"Allez Allez" means "Go mf go!!!" As you noticed i know French and i know test01 would never used that radio command for an unnecessary reason. This video shows that the driver might have waited too long to press the forward button.

Anyway, this Omaha Beach capturing problem may repeat over and over again and may i suggest some simple solutions about that?

Solution 1:
Simply increase the holding time of the Axis team before the initial spawn. If Axis will have to wait like about 5 seconds more, Allied will have a bigger chance to do the job with at least one of the boats. Of course both of the drivers may go pee, go pay the bills or even they may have heart attack... Then deliberately killing them should be normal and essential.

Solution 2:
Simply keep the Axis team away from the beach flag. Not from the whole beach, but just from the grey zone. If Axis players get hurt around the flag and hear some ooh aah noises they will leave it.

Solution 3:
Simply move the flag position to the sea, closer to the ship. If an Allied swimmer can reach the grey before an Axis runner, there will be no boat driver issues, no friendly fight.

Solution 4:
Simply ignore the Axis players near flag. That means if an Allied player achieve to survive at the grey zone for a couple of seconds that should be counted as a capture even the beach is full of Axis players. I think this is the best solution. Why? Because we both give all of the Allied players a fair chance to capture the flag and all of the Axis players a chance to kill the intruders before they arrive. If Axis team is absolutely superior, they can kill all the boats and swimmers. Otherwise, the beach should be captured easily.

Overall... The destiny of the whole team/game should not be dependent on a boat drivers experince/intention. Allied should not suffer that pain before arriving the beach. And yet, it was not like that in the real life. Yeah, i did watch the movie Saving Bastard Ryan. Didn't see any Germans there rushing to the beach...
