I don't know how today, but a few years ago, at time when I stopped using Opera and tried to use Firefox, it seemed so slow and buggy that I used IE until appeared Chrome browser.

Denny, did you really had in mind "astronaut"?

Could be "astronomer"? smile
Although anyway my answer is not. Rather stargazer-dreamer. Now I thinking about buying a cameras with optical zoom 40-60 to take pictures of Jupiter, like at the telescope objective. Tried this with usual camera, without zoom, and was surprised, got the shot where you will able to recognize the colors of surface.

We looked at the falling stars from the bridge yesterday night. And when dropped first, reaction the girl with whom I was watching, was about: "Aaa! Here it is! Here it is!!! HERE IT IS!!! HERE IT IS!!!" big_smile
I didn't calculate count of a usual meteors, but we saw pair very glowing ones. I think at least one of them was a bolid. He was falling so long, 4 or 5 sec. At first he was a bright, then flashed even brighter and then was dimmed. That was awesome!

Here a thunderstorm now. That's great, but the stars isn't visible.

What social networks do you mean? On vk.com I've seen a lot of communities that promote nationalism. In our town hosts many social events that inspired nationalists.

A moment ago looked groups of interests of my friends in the vk, there is dominated jokes, sex, music, entertainment, cultural places and sometimes parks. Nationalist/racist/etc. pages is nope. Of course somewhere in the VK is exists a strongly nationalistic groups (as well as anti-nationalistic groups). They are not blocked, because they do not prevent anybody.

Under social events do you mean "Russian march" or something like that? I do not know how in St. Petersburg, but they are more often does prohibited. And only sometimes is permitted.

That was funny when they walked with rainbow flags near flags of Russian Empire at the time of "March of Millions" (count of participant is about 5-8 thousand people, lol)

If I will get nickname "Hideki Tojo", very few people will be against. And some people maybe will read about him and his war crimes. By my opinion, same situation with nazi nicknames, just another reminder of the events WW2. What's wrong with name of murderer in the game about killing? At least, such names it's another hint.

But of course better would have to ask one of the people with the such nickname why he chose it.

Hemnes, I didn't notice in the Russians social networks the massive promotion of nationalism, rather vice versa.

Ian Davison is a British, white supremacist, and neo-Nazi who was arrested in 2009 for planning terrorist attacks.
At the time of his arrest, Davison, then 41, was the leader of a group called the Aryan Strike Force, which held secret training days in Cumbria at which swastika flags were flown. The ASF had an estimated worldwide membership of 350, including members in Germany and Serbia.[2][3] Police discovered that he had been constructing pipe bombs and purchasing castor beans, which are used to make the poison ricin. Davison had also reportedly discussed poisoning Muslims' water supplies.

poor guy, let's do "Free Ian!" petition! tongue

We don't know nothing about Sunshine's cuban friend ;-)
Ok, then another. This is not terrorist and was cleared from all charges but he was jailed from 2007 to october 2008.

"In 2007, a seventeen-year-old was arrested in Britain and faced charges under Terrorism Law in the UK for possession of this book, among other things. He was cleared of all charges in October 2008, after alleging that he was a prankster who just wanted to research fireworks and smoke bombs. He claimed that he would not have been prosecuted in this way if he had not been of Muslim background."

What do you mean not easy to find? He just went to the library, asked where it is, they showed him, then he checked it out to read it. I think he bought a copy awhile ago. Maybe that was some other one.

I don't know the name. She said she was just curious when one of them started to go deaf or something. It was some stupid shit. It's not like she was reading "How to take over Cuba for Dummies"

Maybe I said it wrong. Not easy to find REALLY banned books (if there exists of course) not from that list. I don't know any title.

Oh, wait. How about "Green book" by Muammar Gaddafi?

Reading a book won't get you thrown in prison. If it is, then I want the dude who wrote the last book I read to be arrested. It was shit.

I'm not about school books like "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" by Mark Twain. But "The Anarchist Cookbook" written by William Powell, or "E for Ecstasy" by Nicholas Saunders and similar.

From wiki:
"UK in 2010, Ian Davison and his son were imprisoned under anti-terrorism laws for the manufacturing of ricin, and their possession of the Anarchist Cookbook, along with its availability, was noted by the authorities"

Maybe you will spend an experiment in U.S.? ;-)
