That bfsoldier with ping 20 is xp fanatic
I think this hangar window is purpose in the game to simulate an extremely advantageous position which effords teamwork or better skills to be taken. However a heavily armored machine gun that covers the single entrance into a bunker from the inside would be more realistic.

Why not? You cant kick every random-name player with more than 10 points.
Of course not and i´m not talking about about medium skilled players. I´m talking about someone who allways gets gold with distance. Its clear that he uses this name on purpose to not provide an identity.
I didn´t remember ingame how it is on this server, just found that old one:
http://team-simple.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=5173
Another thing is, he uses the name BFSoldier although he is a very skilled player or because he is a cheater.
However if we would catch him and see a BFSoldier with that such stats again, we would have have to assume he evaded. My Question is, should we allow a player, who plays so extremely successful (however) to use an annonym noob name?
did we even say he is lying?
Didn´t know that the autoban is just for 3 days but if that time (that he evaded) is over, i won´t mind if he gets unbanned.
Accidents during takeoff from moving ship can result in minusscore for the captain, also killing yourself can help you getting an autokick.
...the blue base is attacked by snipers as aircraft or tanks without that administrators do not do anything.
Yes, admins do something about it. However we are on the server in our free time and not paid so we usualy don´t stay in base and wait for someone to break the rules, we are on the server to play and administer additionally.
some single spawn points of the allied airfield are behind the sandbags on the high ground between the runway and the central battlefield. If players shoot from there or were allready out of base/did shoot within the same live, they are legit targets.
I guess you talk about Penemünde on RTR/SW Server, that would fit the disription.
I don´t play there often but the deathbubble of the allied base sure doesn´t reach over the entire bridge.
If the Map doesn´t have a deathbubble i would say the bridge doesn´t belong to the base since it is outside the base sandbags, not a runway for base planes and no base spawnpoints are on the bridge.
You can see the bridges of that map as challenge and adapt to enemy tactics.
The Player you named (similar written) was accused by you for teamkilling, which could not be confirmed.
In the meantime you made a few teamkills and i saw that at least the last one was purpose, 15 minutes ban.
Pls don´t destroy empty vehicles in base, players may want to use them in near future and may spawn there before your bombs, rockets or bullets reach the targets.
What? this is not a military simulation?
If it was a mistake, it´s not abuse.
Why doesn´t he come here himself?
@Arkos: Pls read again, this is NOT about attacking the enemy and get teamswitched. => rated by the server as teamkill.
This is about attacking the own team and switch to the other. => rated by the server as normal kill.
Today I saw players getting a week for less bad things, however I hoped to read an opinion about an apropriate ban lenght from someone who does not know Tedje.
I´ll ask nämeless to shorten the ban at his own discretion, if he is also a friend of Tedje, he may be lucky.
Of course I expect Tedje not to do something like that again, maybe he just forgot to say that he won´t.
@bud: It was Battle of Brittain, the baseattack/camping rule is not applied there.
@Maasika: As far as i understand, teamstacking is if you just switch to a team (maybe not at the beginning) that has allready more players or gets significant more then (small total numbers), if you combine it with prepairing a (massive) tk before, it gets something else (buguse) that comes pretty close to cheating. Lets say this is my opinion.
There have been a few pixeling debates, every x time I use an artillery as it is really ment to be used (with at least one initial spot for a target out of sight, own or from others). I have seen max one halfway serious (and allready disruptive) try to prove pixeling at the very beginning of my repairpad artillery tactic, there has been nothing but hot air, shameless accusations, disrupting and abusing admins. Don´t come with BS, just like Donald Trump said something that is not allready proven.
@Alvarez-Latino: Maybe he would have better chances to get his ban shortened if his friends wouldn´t try to "help" him. Playing the sherif? No i like to play the game with as few interruptions as possible but if i see something, i don´t use the admin rights only for me or my friends. what did you do/do you do?
@Lecter: Not that I suspect you would do it deliberately but I bet if you wouldn´t know him, you would ban him too. If you believe me that, what do you think how long?
Oh sorry i didn´t know that he is a decade veteran of this game, in order to NOT have double standards, this shouldn´t make any difference. At least he is not admin and i didn´t know omg, right Alvarez? I´m not happy myself if proven cheaters get unbanned or find a way to evade a ban, for cheaters there shouldn´t be a second chance. Is it now my fault that others, however, are treated way too soft?
@Maasika: Just to make sure you got it: Putting mines on the planes of the own team and then teamswitch to get free kills is not (just) teamstacking, it´s a subtile form of purpose teamkilling or cheating (whatever perspective you like).
In cases like this there is allways room for discussion what time is appropriate but in the first place i consider the player a troll that does things like that all day if he can. When he came to forum, he was smart enought not to claim he did nothing wrong, however people like Lecter, Maasika and Alvarez-Latino behave as if, trying to play good cop bad cop with me.
Next time i kick or ban someone and he comes here, i should ask what he thinks why he was banned, then i wanna read it from himself or his lies to cover them up later.
Thank you Lecter for your unprejudiced und qualified opinion here, i don´t remember the last time that someone was banned by me AND came here to ask why.
It was in the final moments of the map, an allied Aircraft carrier was the last remaining objective.
I was on aa gun next to the plane spawn and noticed the minewarning-sign of mines from own team. Through the deck i could see the names of 2 allies, one of them was Corky Tatcher (or something very similar).
So far so good, after beeing distracted for a few seconds (probably shooting axis plane), i saw at least one (2 if i remeber right) axis landmine kills by Corky Tatcher. I took a look in the playerlist and found him in axis team (he was dead). Then i took a look into console and found the infomation that he switched axis team.
I consider this manipulative behaviour as a kind of cheating and banned him for a month.
Good to see the Background, since it is allowed to use parashute after explosions, i also wouldn´t consider that to be a glitch and years ago i could have been caught trying the same.
If i see players meeting with their tuned cars far away from the action on the high grounds at bocage doing nothing but hanging around there then i warn them, if it doesn´t help i kick one who was warned but still there and so on.
In this thread Finn Balor could make some usefull posts
could everyone in the BF1942 part pls use <spam></spam> to mark his unimportant stuff or spam elsewhere?
was it an obvious purpose teamkill or maybe an xpack that was to long in the sun (lets say half a minute)?
Do CTF maps really print out grey text that says that xpacking the mobile flag is forbidden? Never saw that.
It´s not in the rules but during CTF maps xpacks last only 30 seconds until they explode automaticly.
so xpacking at CTF is way not that effective as with regular xpacks.
pls make your own ban apeal in a new thread in the required format.
It might be exspected to much for an admin to find out ingame whether you have equal many spaces right and left of your name or not.
agree too, the snipers that take positions from where they only can shoot active enemys in their base are pretty challanging for admins.
when i play concentrated, i can miss a lot so maybe we should have a look at the chat protokolls to find out what we are talking about. Maybe there are also protokolls that say if you hit e.S or not.
maybe one week is a bit long but i didn´t see the chat protocoll.
About the baseattack story: In case of a captured vehicle there is no doubt that the vehicle is active/left it´s home base so in my eyes it doesn´t matter if it´s in- or outside the base of its new owner, i would just be carefull to prevent collateral damage. Otherwise teams would try to win games by keeping enemy tanks untouchable inside own base.
Yesterday on france server was someone with the name "Joachim Peiper" who had nothing but minusscore.
Isn´t the real Peiper called "Jochen Peiper"?
