I'm just curious why winXp.
Per default and with minor tweaks, XP has the best file explorer and search in my opinion, you can get close with Classic Shell in Vista and later, but not fully. The overall experience with XP anno 2015 is quite good regarding speed, security, etc. User Interfaces, ease of use and familiarity means a lot to me, I generally hate to be forced to use new stuff when the old is just as good or better. I like running/testing old games/apps and comparing win versions. Been using XP for almost 15 years, don’t want to give it up just because Microsoft tries to kill it off, and lie about almost everything imaginable, such as all new windows are always better than the previous, etc.
3770k is only about 8% faster than 2600k
6700k is about 32% faster than 3770k, so no major disaster for me
yes, most people get provoked when somebody says, that sometimes, old is better than new
Because full XP compatibility on an almost modern rig, rocks in 2015+ :-}
My final fully compatible XP rig. Bought the first parts two years ago when there was a chance they’d disappear from the market soon. Have made big sacrifices in order to have near-full XP drivers (would’ve bought Haswell or Skylake otherwise). Ivy Bridge is the last platform with official XP support. I even bought two extra i7-3770k’s and the top z77 boards from Asus, Asrock too (yes, very sick and disturbing :-/ ) just to be sure I’ll be able to have an XP platform forever. Five SSds, one for each OS from XP to 10.
Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP7
i7-3770K
G.Skill TridentX Series 4 x 8 GB 2400 mhz
Corsair AX860
Asus Xonar Phoebus Solo
5 x Samsung 850 Pro 256 GB
4 + 8 TB HDD
No graphics card yet, will await Nvidia Pascal to see if XP drivers will be available, if not, Geforce 970/980.
This is what happens when silly nerds spend too much time at home.

fu popcorn time
i hate stuff that gets popular due to ease-of-use, but lacks options for advanced control ... popcorn time is an example of that
its a sickening trend these days ... stuff has to be so easy so that apes will be able to use it, but as soon as you want to do a little customization/control, you hit a brick wall, just like in smartphone apps
i think it's a sign of iqs dropping last 20 years, and women and underdeveloped countries entering the comp scene
popcorn time is an example, easy but limited .... what if you want to:
- run frame by frame
- loop section
- change aspects ratio
and trillions of other things ... you can't
dowloading mov torrents, then using vlc, is incredibly easy, and allows more control. overall a much better option imo
the number of movs available via torrents are also much higher
It'll be crap ... just as all movies released after 2000 are ... too much cgi, too little talent
looks like it'll pull through ... remarkable ...
Kisiel .. are you a troll, weirdo, or ... ? your posts are odd, distorted, pointless
Not funny !

91 - 100 No symptoms. Superior functioning in a wide range of activities, life's problems never seem to get out of hand, is sought out by others because of his or her many positive qualities.
81 - 90 Absent or minimal symptoms (e.g., mild anxiety before an exam), good functioning in all areas, interested and involved in a wide range of activities, socially effective, generally satisfied with life, no more than everyday problems or concerns.
71 - 80 If symptoms are present, they are transient and expectable reactions to psychosocial stressors (e.g., difficulty concentrating after family argument); no more than slight impairment in social, occupational, or school functioning (e.g., temporarily falling behind in schoolwork).
61 - 70 Some mild symptoms (e.g., depressed mood and mild insomnia) or some difficulty in social, occupational, or school functioning (e.g., occasional truancy, or theft within the household), but generally functioning pretty well, has some meaningful interpersonal relationships.
51 - 60 Moderate symptoms (e.g., flat affect and circumlocutory speech, occasional panic attacks) or moderate difficulty in social, occupational, or school functioning (e.g., few friends, conflicts with peers or co-workers).
41 - 50 Serious symptoms (e.g., suicidal ideation, severe obsessional rituals, frequent shoplifting) or any serious impairment in social, occupational, or school functioning (e.g., no friends, unable to keep a job, cannot work).
31 - 40 Some impairment in reality testing or communication (e.g., speech is at times illogical, obscure, or irrelevant) or major impairment in several areas, such as work or school, family relations, judgment, thinking, or mood (e.g., depressed adult avoids friends, neglects family, and is unable to work; child frequently beats up younger children, is defiant at home, and is failing at school).
21 - 30 Behavior is considerably influenced by delusions or hallucinations or serious impairment, in communication or judgment (e.g., sometimes incoherent, acts grossly inappropriately, suicidal preoccupation) or inability to function in almost all areas (e.g., stays in bed all day, no job, home, or friends)
11 - 20 Some danger of hurting self or others (e.g., suicide attempts without clear expectation of death; frequently violent; manic excitement) or occasionally fails to maintain minimal personal hygiene (e.g., smears feces) or gross impairment in communication (e.g., largely incoherent or mute).
1 - 10 Persistent danger of severely hurting self or others (e.g., recurrent violence) or persistent inability to maintain minimal personal hygiene or serious suicidal act with clear expectation of death.

poor guy ... i wonder if current science would be able to restore his brain to normality
Here we go with the misleading advices again.
Some people have no self-criticism and never question whether what they're saying is factually right or wrong.
Anybody can say: Buy the best/fastest/biggest/most expensive product, but that makes no sense in most cases since the vast majority have a limited budget.
The quality of the psu is relevant as well. Some cheap high wattage ones are of poor quality.
I'd rather buy a quality 600w psu for syndrums build, than a cheap crap 900w one.
i7 ~ 90 w
geforce 970 ~ 170 w

USA at it's pinnacle in so many ways .... those were fantastic times
Intel cpus below 100 w run cool and quiet with stock a cooler at 25 degrees room temp and below
same with that asus 970 card mentioned
same with a decent psu
no need for extra air flow
some people are obsessed with cooling for no valid reasons, often the same who buy amd, like bling and stuff that looks neat but has no purpose
don't buy extra cooling, don't listen to people who have no idea what they're talking about
stock ventilation on cpu, gpu, psu is fine
for almost the same price you can get a motherboard with the top chipset z170 instead of the b150 you mention above
some z170 boards sorted by (danish) price, should be comparable to euro price ranges:
http://www.edbpriser.dk/hardware/bundko … ?chipsaet=[Intel+Z170+Express]&count=10&sort=TotalPrice&rlm=List
ASUS Z170-P D3 can be bought for 100 € in germany
note that some mobos use ddr3l, others ddr4
chipsets for skylake:
plenty of euro price comparison sites, a small sample:

futhermore, socket am3+ is an old partly outdated platform, it was introduced in 2011, while z97 boards are from 2014. skylake is only a few months old.
asus strix 970 is a better card for the same price in my opinion.
really, yes
the tdp of that amd is 220 w, 88 w intel ... says it all
hotter, noisier, higher electricity bill
amd cpus are crap ... buy intel ...
that cpu is the best example of how much amd suck ... it's just an overclocked piece of silicon, due to amd being stuck at 32 nm, due to the intelligence in that company being too low. they've been at the brink of bankrupsy for a long time. those overclocked cpus have shorter lifetimes, the cooling is noisier, and they use much more electricity, so they are more expensive to run. yes buy a 4790k/6700k if you want a true beast, but an i5 at half the cost is a good deal too.
that psu is sufficient for intel, and borderline for amd

I learned that unprocessed foods contain almost no sodium, and that it might be a good idea to add it.

Messi injured, Real ties, chelsea ties - far behind ... what's the world coming to?
Today’s evening meal:
- Domino’s medium sized pizza with parmesan, pepperoni, beef.
- McDonald’s Quarter Pounder, Filet-O-Fish, Big Tasty, Chicken Salsa Cheese, McFeast, McFlurry snickers.
- Various sodas mixed with water.
Yours?
Visited Max hamburger today, their servings taste ok, but they’re slow and expensive, 9 euros for a medium sized burger.
My favorite all-time foods is the classic grill stuff; pizza, burgers, fries, misc. dips, milkshake, soda etc. If if weren’t so darn unhealthy, it’d be what I’d mainly live off for the rest of my life.
