those values were set to other than zero in my os, i nonetheless set them to zero, rebooted, checked in bf1942
that double inf x-axis sensitivity is still there ...
arkos, im almost 100% sure it is not related to any windows acceleration, since it only happens in certain situations as infantry
and as far as i know bf1942 uses RAW mouse input, not windows mouse input
make a profile for the game and make sure you complete all of the steps in the setup of the 502.
i run my mouse driverless, so no profiles. i have tested it with mice of other brands too, driverless, and some of them with drivers, all same result
this is why the profile is important make one for BF1942 and you should be good.
Just deactivate mouse accleration, (Windows welcome screen and in the mouse settings itself).
me and tygrys both have that issue, thats 2/2 or 100%, maybe everybody has it.
its not mouse acceleration, mine is deactivated. like said above, ive tested both in win xp and 7. it only happens on the x-axis, and only as infantry with contact to ground or surfaces
why dont you or others test if you have this too ? it only takes 30 secs to fire up the game and check ...
lol ... i have the exact same "issue" ..... sensitivity on the x-axis as inf doubles when moving with the forward, back, left, right keys. if im in a parachute and use the move keys while turning with the mouse, sensitivity isnt doubled
are you sure that sensitivity doubles when in vehicles ? mine dont. which vehicle do you use ?

low ping, a good net connection and good pc hardware is not skill, they are advantages that has got nothing to do with the person playing
if lecters packet loss net, old operating system install, and hardware (Athlon 64X2 4200+, GeForce 8400GS, etc. ?) is as bad as he says (i believe him) then it is very impressive what he does
im sure if he got top-notch gear, he would be classes above the best infs in bf1942
best server : aX .... virtually no crashes, no disconnection warnings, low spawn times, high player skill level, low level of rulebreaking, low level of teamkilling, 2 rounds for maps that last less than 15 minutes, fast round start, custom auto server messages, custom auto server mechanisms, mobile apc spawn only on one map, no ctf, relaxed nametag rules, no unscheduled mapskipping, no mapvote

my estimate is that 10 % of the players on simple fra, ax, mg etc. cheat, so nothing groundbreaking about your writings

my favorite way (expensive, slightly cumbersome) of recording with virtually no performance impact :
clone gpu output, one to the gaming screen, one to a secondary pc with a hardware video grabber
something like 3 x minus score kick = 1 week auto ban, as ax has, would be better

like said ... the player i refer to was kicked multiple times by an admin, so maybe he thought it was an abuser too ...

somebody with the above tags and ping 40 - 47 has been playing on simple fra a lot this week, mainly as inf
some rounds, he has been kicked a lot by admins, 5-10 times or more, other rounds no kicks happen
his aim is very precise, he is hard to hit, and im quite sure he cheats / hacks
im guessing its one of the estonians; simon / venom / deeko / whatever

and i thought aX was bad at times .... now i see it is pure paradise and a gem compared to simple fra. i played there a lot recently, never once saw bad behaviour or power abuse from the admins. and the general rulebreaking is much lower there, even though they only have around 5 - 10 active admins
i dont blame the simple server owner for this, most of what he has done is amazing, well meant, and the best possible under the given circumstances

so i get gold 3 maps in a row on simple fra (as usual). we then get to stalingrad. sommarel, the immature lowlife scum that he is, gets jealous, because he thinks hes good. i get a 21-0 inf streak early on stali and is way ahead of sommarel scorewise
sommarel then wants me out of the server because he can see that ill beat him and get gold again. so he makes up a lie and tell the admins that i attack main uncap, which i didnt, not even close. his buddy, lopIgio falls for the lie, or just wants to help his buddy and kicks me

all weapons can pass through from the inside, no weapons can pass through from the outside
on simple fra with its mostly no uncap attack allowed, its relevant for the midway hangar, el al ctf hangars,

it makes little sense to have a full server with loads of idlers / afk'ers
simple fra is often like that. its common to see 5 or more when full
some of these players often idle for entire rounds
any long-time idlers (around 5 or more minutes) in a full server should be kicked or banned in my opinion
they block outside players from entering the server, and often unbalance teams
why arent any simple admins at least kicking them ?

muffin man is a fat 60 year old guy with poor eyesight. hes played this game for 10 years but still got no clue. he cant inf, tank or fly. the only thing he tries very hard at, is to seek out noobs, preferably dumb, drunk 50 year old novices with high ping and crap pcs from 1998
those can be found in abundance at moongamers. hes a switch-to winning team coward, a losing team log-off'er, an expack spammer, a grenade spammer, a spawn camper, a tank versus stupid noob exploiter, an aichival whore vs inf, a main base attacker
the people he usually plays against are unable to learn, and will make the same mistakes again and again, again, again, again, again, again
he will do ANYTHING to keep a low ping. if mg is empty he'll mostly prefer not to play, rather than lose his ping advantage. hes been seen a few times on ax, simple, getting owned by clanners, struggling versus average inf

i disagree with #2, the simple forum has become the de facto universal bf1942 forum, because the owner seemingly dont mind or maybe even wants it that way. i think its very beneficial to bf1942 or any game to have a free, embracing forum such as this

i havent researched/confirmed that bf2142 uprising, but it looks real, and if it is, then its an amazing feat
from an egoistic point of view, short term, im not sure i want a wave of new players into bf1942. i was sickened by the stupidity/skill level of the origin players, and their almost straight-up refusal to learn/research/improve their game
the skill level on ax and other servers that previously were origin-infested is now almost acceptable, but it took four years
on the other hand, player levels for bf1942 anno late 2016 are now all-time critically low, and itll get worse and worse as time progresses, so its either plague or cholera for me - too few players or too many noobs, if that revive thing would happen again to bf1942. and if it did, wait till about 2020 until skill levels have increased again
