Since ziba128's download link on the first post doesn't work anymore, here's my modified .exe as well as the necessary .rfa files which allow you to play against 256 players/bots in coop mode:

Just open the README file and follow the instructions.For other Battlefield 1942 mod/s of your choice, you have to edit the game.rfa (Found in Mods/"modname"/Archives/bf1942 folder) using WinRFA, select AIdefault.con, find "aiSettings.setMaxNBots" and change 64 to 256.
Please let me know if it works.
so...I'm not technically literate...does that link allow widescreen playing without manually changing the .con files?
and what program opens the download? windows 8.1 looking for some software for the download...file ends in .7z ??

I am guessing that the server doesnt recognize your "free" cd key; you probably need a real one to sign in. can you sign in other servers besides Simple?

I don't think its that type of conspiracy, sounds like you just have a suckie service provider...where are you and which Simple server are you trying to get on.
Have you tried getting on a server that is closer to your home country...can you get on any server?

did you update the two server patches in the correct order? did you add the bf patches? check it...let us know the result
did you buy a copy of the SW R/R or are you depending on the free copies? freebies have a problem with cd keys...

What name did you use ingame? do you have an approximate date/? Can you give us the first four numbers/letters in your keyhash?

I tried using RM 2.01 for SimpleUSA and it kept crashing. Now using RM 2.0 and no problems....
oh I have windows 8.1 soon to upgraded windows 10 when Mr. Gates deems it my turn....

FWIW, I will switch sides to make it even, multiple times per game, if needed. Most of the good players on the server do too.
