Yes he was bugging on Berlin. You can unban him but any name calling or bad behavior from him will result in anything from 15 min ban to 1week from now on.

I didn't see a proper apologize. It has nothing to do what you did on the server anymore. Unless you behave here you will be instant ban on the server for anything that could remotely be an offense. Call it what ever you want. But before I hear an apology from you will never play with me on the server.

It's a good thing that we reflect on this issue here on the fra server as well. I'm pretty sure Bailer.Merlin has a lot to tell us since he is banned using this. More time on the forums... If this is allowed then we can lift the ban. He will get himself banned within a few days anyways he can't seem to learn this guy. Man my 4 year old kid learns faster...

I didn't evade ban, you were too slow, it didn't stick = not evading, I didn't bug play, you stood there and I used crouch and strafe only, nor did I use anything like that to kill you the first time, I jumped and sprayed left and right,

Should we really allow someone like him here? This dear player can't even express his feelings in a polite way when he get's banned. He and only he did this to himself. If he would have played fair and didn't complain all the time. Everything would be fine.
And please dear op. I have played this game so many more years than you have and I know what bugging at Berlin can look like. You didn't do the standard bugging no. I agree to that. But when I ask you not to bug by constantly pressing crouch so it looks like you are swimming in the air and makes it impossible/very hard to hit you. Of course you didn't listen... Again with the behavior and old time bans you have I don't even need a small offense for you to get a ban.
I vote for a perm ban. At least a few weeks. I would also like to have him say that he is sorry for his name calling and tell me that he will never do that again. I think that is fair. I feel very offended by his harsh language. I can't even play or surf internet because of how upset I am...

First of all. There is a ban appeal format to be used. Which the op didn't use of course...
Posting what the op wrote in a PM here for everyone to read:

I told the player not to bug like that. I was standing still and didn't reg a hs when he where say 25 meters away. He didn't strafe. Then I saw that he where swimming in around. I told him again not to bug like that. And as always he continued with what ever we admins tell him not to do. The ban stands. I will let someone else lift the ban if they think it's acceptable play from the op.
Then evading the ban by coming in to the server and complain and call me names. That will just add to the ban if you ask me. I suggest the op takes a few weeks off the server and don't do the following if he is allowed to get back:
1. Bug play. Not talking strafe etc that is of course ok.
2. Stop calling me names. I will ban the op every time does that.
3. Stop complain about his ping. There is only one solution to that problem. Move to europe. There is a simple server in US. DON'T EVER complain about regs or ping when I am on as admin. Instant ban for the op. I have lost count on how many times I banned him so far.
4. I have no idea why admins here think it's ok that he behave like he does.
5. Calling other ppl cheaters with no proof plus saying that ppl are cherry picking etc.
My 2 cents would be to perm ban the op and then perm ban on this forum

You have not learned one single thing in dealing with repeating trolls like Jedder, Pwnzrfaust, many others,

Firstly, I am no troll, the people that hunt and harass with cheats, crash servers when they don't get their way, those are trolls, come after better players who are also outspoken like me, as said, you collectively ignore the evidence and patterns, overreact to mild cussing of all things when its like the middle of the night for nearly every player, then censoring people from speaking out on being victimized by these cheats, because nothing is done about them, when it should be you, taking the initiative and looking into it, I do not lie about cheats, tk, mainbase, ever, it call it as seen and as happens, there is no point to making it up, how many times would crying wolf actually practically work? I see no sense in it, and I am dealing with a very real, ever present force bent on game disruption through illegal means against me, others, the server itself, they've been enjoying this for a full day now, while you guys go right on playing, often on the same team, without giving one shit about finer points of the job like this, wrongfully admining against players first, when its a cheater being abided in the server, whos already been called by several others for teamkills, mainbase, mapping, double ip both teams, teamswitch, targeting of certain players, and their motivation and objective is the hope that you will act as such and not properly deal with it in a timely fashion, so yes, I do think the ban will be overruled

I'm pretty sure you are a troll. According to Wikipedia you are at least. We as admins are not here to serve you as players trying to get people banned just beacuse you think they are cheating and when I have asked for some proof you just want me to take your word for it. And to be honest your word on this server means nothing...
I have played this game since the wake beta 14 years ago. That said I have not been using cheats except 10 years ago when our clan tested a maphack on a locked server to try to see if we could spot it when other players were using it. This means that I am not as experienced as other admins are spotting cheats. I try to make the play time at simple enjoyable. To be honest if one noob player get a few more kills because he is using a maphack I don't think it's the end of the world. That said we should ofc ban the noob if we have proof. What is more disturbing is when players like you or Stude4art is flaming, cursing and make the time less enjoyable for the other players.
I hope some of other admins comment on the ban period. I'm now thinking it should be a permban to be honest. You have not learned a single thing of the numerous times you have been banned.

This one's not enough on its own. He didn't have line-of-sight once i'd entered the building and he was very far away at that point. Yet he knows I'm rounding the corner with a building between us. I have spatial 5.1 surround sound and his gunfire was from the back diagonal of the building. He also would have had to traverse on foot from one end of the building to the other faster than I could have to spot me and catch up from behind the wall. Lucky guess? Perhaps it's possible, but the guy was all lucky guesses and multiple people noticed it to the point that he would leave and come back with a new name, same ping, and same play style.
I see myself throwing expacks that way. If I see one guy that is advancing I would throw one on each side of the house. 50/50 chance that he would choose your side. I really don't see anything in this video. I also hear that he shoots at you which means that he knows that you are there somewhere.
Again if I have missed anything please point it out.
And for the record if we would ban everyone that is doing what you see in the video we wouldn't have many players left. I for one would have been banned a long time ago.

This is all I had time to look through tonight. I think it's enough to warrant a ban/having him come discuss it in forums, but my opinion doesn't really matter. By the time a forum complaint is posted with video evidence, he's long gone. Prank was able to constantly locate a single player in game from death-to-spawn and from point-to-point within moments. I believe I've encountered him doing the same stuff on the tanks server, which is why I was targeted also. If I find more examples, I'll post them.
Thank you for the upload. I see a baseraper. I would have kicked him ofc if I had been on the server and I saw it myself or I got the info from a player that is not flaming me for my very poor admin skills. Allied had one flag which means that you will have a few planes attacking it. I didn't see anything that would suggest that he is only attacking you. Same thing for the attacks in the mainbase. Maybe the one when you get killed at the jeeps. For instance if he was only targeting you he didn't do a very good job when you were behind the hangar. I will let someone more experienced look into it.
That said I am no expert at spotting cheaters for sure.

and if you carefully read his post, its his second excuse (after lyin about teamattack), that doesnt even make sense. he took the airfield as allied, and flew away in the plane. i switched to allies, spawned there and waited for maybe another plane to spawn. aftee that didnt happen i switched back to axis to kill him. well, im outta here. its not like i cant join the server if i wanted to, i just refuse to play on a server run by assholes out of principle.
You can join any of the other 1500 servers with players. Have fun.

The ban stands. I can only give him one week. If an admin can please add a week or two for Merlin to calm down and understand that the admin tries to keep the server as clean as possible. I asked for evidence of this player that was only targeting him. I did specc him for a while and didn't see anything strange.
Again and again Merlin ruins the game for many ppl. I did warn him several times that this is not tolerated. After several time writing in the chat that the admins are not doing anything to uphold the rules I got tired and banned him.
Don't get me wrong. If a known player that I know says that someone is cheating I can kick ban but not on a hunch from a known troll.
Welcome back next week unless some other admin changes the verdict.

Remember that sometimes we do want to play the game and not just trying to kick idiots. Last couple of days have been horrible in the sense that tk seems like the standard. I will kick/ban anyone I see that is tk:ing on purpose. I can't keep track of everyone getting even with each other.

I don't think anyone needs to notify you. What is needed is that you calm down in game chat and on this forum. You will know when the ban is over unless the admin that banned you will tell you.

Really? You don't think it's a difference on a TK on purpose or TK as an accident? I really hope that you are not admin. Back when I was admin here I would not ban on the first TK. If you kick the guy and he continues sure perm ban but anyone can accidently TK sometimes. Actually not sure if my key works. Heard that it has been issues with ppl stealing keys or what ever?

it was not on purpose. I just explained what happened. If you can see the logs you will see that I tried to stay in the allied team but got autoswitched 3-4 times. I spawned on top and thought someone was attacking as it was very close in the middle of the flag zone. As you know I play engy only unless forced by mods etc. My knife is my close range weapon of choise. I'm a little bit disappointed that it was you to be honest vale 
I'm pretty sure that you know who I am. If you for some reason think that I would tk on purpose a direct ban for 1 day is way overkill even for a noob player. Kick and then ban. But again very disappointed...

I just got a 1 day ban for a tk i did. It was not on purpose. I switched team on omaha from axis to allies since I was autoswitched. Then when I spawned i tk:d. Sure sorry for the tk but a ban when doug or who ever the admin was got the same score as me with gold on the map before and I got silver. Not like I'm the tk:er of the year.Show some respect for an old player and former admin
