It’s always good to have competition, particularly at the top end.
I can totally see Nvidia releasing a 16GB 3080Ti to match the 6900XT in price and performance. Their 3090 isn’t meant for gamers anyway, 24GB VRAM is far in excess of what anyone needs, even at 4K.

At Moon, in order to n00b-proof the map we had to give the Allies the beach from the beginning. Yes, it sucks and takes away from the map but players would start leaving after a few minutes if they were not able to cap the beach. (And we don't have the population to really sustain that)
Plus stacking on Axis is a real problem on this map anyway.
Another option would be to move the flag closer to the water and decrease the radius a bit, so it's harder for Axis to camp it.

The leaked specs and the teaser AMD gave us suggest it will match the 3080 in some games, but be slightly slower otherwise. At the right price point and given the fact that it's almost impossible to get a 3080 right now, Big Navi could be a boon for AMD. I'd say if it comes in at $599 retail people who were waiting for 3080 will just buy that.
Meanwhile here I am with my 3090 playing 80% BF1942

It's probably the T-34 but it only features in one vanilla multiplayer map. (Well, also Berlin if not modded out of it). M10 second place.
Coming from someone who can stay alive longer as infantry than when inside of a tank.

We tried planes on Caen before, and it did OK for a bit (more of a novelty) but the map is too small / foggy to really make flying viable, and people got bored quickly. Not to mention those wanting a break from the planes, did not appreciate the mod.

I am not 100% if TGE was actually attacked, but I did see them decline significantly in population earlier today which certainly points to an attack.
If you look at the graph there's no '0' period, but that doesn't mean they weren't crashed.

I didn't see the RTR/SW server being hit last night. It was the SiMPLE main server, aX, and MoonGamers all being down at the same time. We are still down, SiMPLE was just hit again but they're back now.

Top 3 servers appear to have been attacked and down to 0 population.
SiMPLE disappeared from server list for a while and is still down.
aX was at 9999 ping for 3-4 minutes - way too long to be just a map change. It's back up now.
We (MoonGamers) likely got DDoS'ed - we went down twice tonight. First time we were at 40 population, 2nd time (we somehow came back) at 20 population. First attack happened around 11PM EST on the 18th and 2nd attack happened around 12:15 AM EST on the 19th.
As of this post, MoonGamers and SiMPLE are still down.
The US DC server (EA117) was also hit and is currently down.
TGE seems to be the only one that was not hit today.

You definitely notice the loud keys at first but get used to it quickly. The feeling is really nice.
I would not buy the "green" version if you use the computer in close proximity to someone else, though - the clicky noise can be really annoying to others. The "orange" and "yellow" versions are more silent.
