Omaha_beach

Just played or tried to play Omaha_beach map,but for an half of hour axis players prevent us to take a beach.Does anybody have idea how to prevent such situation?Maybe to make a beach protected from axis players just as protection on main bases on other maps?Can we solve this?10x in advance and for sugestions.(sry for "tarzan-english").

Yes axis have veeery big advantage on this map. 2 tanks, 2 defguns, they can spam you with grenades, other explosives etc. etc. It should be better to change it, ie. disable explosives for both of teams and/or disable one axis tank* until allied team take middle flag. Axis even only with top flag can defend pretty well. Of course I know it may be bit hard to do but I think it's pretty doable.

*Maybe it is not possible to dynamically put player control objects on the server, so I think giving long time to spawn for one of the axis tank should also do this job.

Let it as it is, remove the Ammo box at the beach and the Axis APC at all.

how about:
giving apc to axis once the allies capture the beach.
and spawn the ammo boxes at that time as well

In my opinion, what makes the map pretty difficult for the allied forces is that the carrier's artillery is usually used by noobs. Give artillery to good players and it would exasperate Axis defguns and tanks.

At Moon, in order to n00b-proof the map we had to give the Allies the beach from the beginning. Yes, it sucks and takes away from the map but players would start leaving after a few minutes if they were not able to cap the beach. (And we don't have the population to really sustain that)

Plus stacking on Axis is a real problem on this map anyway.

Another option would be to move the flag closer to the water and decrease the radius a bit, so it's harder for Axis to camp it.
